Took a friend’s recommendation on a nice place to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. Shelia’s did not disappoint. Excellent food, beverages and first class service. I can personally recommend the streak and homemade pasta. Don’t forget the crème brûlée for dessert. Forgot to take a photo but the presentation was lovely.

The name of the business has been removed from the building, has it closed or changed hands?

What a waste of money. I had the Low Country boil. are you ready. ‘4 mussels(1 was completely closed) 4 small soggy shrimp, a thumb size piece of sausage, and a small soggy piece of corn. It was horrible. They also had the audacity to charge me 3 bucks for a piece of bread! My husband had the banger’s and mash which was not good at all and both order’s were stone cold… Weird rundown place.

After hearing rave reviews of this restaurant a friend and I decided to try it for lunch. The service was slow, the meal was not impressive at all. I ordered a salad with the addition of chicken. When it arrived, the portion of «extra» chicken was probably less than 3 ounces — for $ 5! My friend ordered a sandwich which came with their home made chips which were either stale or overcooked. Won’t be going back.

My friend raved about Shelias Deli, so we decided to try Shelias Bistro because of the great reviews. The waiter, although polite, didn’t take our order for 30 minutes after arriving. It was dead. We came here for oysters, which was a forshawding for what was about to come. We ordered the steak and snapper, a seafood restaurants bread and butter, which were on the pricier side of the menu. They came 45 minutes after our waiters second attempt at taking our order. The presentation was nice, but the foods flavor was bland. The snapper was paired with roasted herbs, which didn’t make sense for the dish. It came with the standard vegetable and roasted potato, which accompanied, but didn’t add to the plate. The steak was cooked accordingly(rare.) However, the gravy reminded me of a packaged gravy. The cheese was tasted how it was intended to taste, but it didn’t go with the dish. Overall it was disappointing. The quality was there, but the flavors were off putting. We didn’t finish our dishes.

So when the rains start you want that knows how to make a great lunch — Sheila’s sure hit the target. We had a variety of things — the soup was awesome. The salads were all creative and came in half sizes. The chips are a real treat — cut thin like potato chips hit fried fresh. Looks like it would be a great spot for dinner and a glass of wine. Service is top notch.

We went to the beach to get fish and chips but as per usual no parking so when we went to sheila’s I decided to try the fish and chips and they were excellent the new chips are now my favourite. So bye bye beach sheila has ample parking and a lot of other things to I want to try. I will be back real soon.

My dad and I had lunch here last week. I ordered the Fish Tacos and a Mojito. My dad ordered the wrap and a beer. We both thoroughly enjoyed our well priced meal. The ingredients are top notch and the effort to ensure we had a great lunch was appreciated. My only complaint would be the blueberries in my mojito, keep mojitos pure :) A very worthy mention is the in house potato chips made fresh. They are the best potato chips I’ve had in my life. We’ll be back!
