Newton Wave Pool

We’ve been coming here for fun since our kids were little, and I’ve got no complaints. For $ 3/​person (family rate) you get two big waterslides, a huge wave pool, a hot hot tub, and a fun toddler zone… what an affordable way to spend a day! The dressing rooms are clean (bring Canadian quarters for the lockers), and the staff are friendly. Love the Newton Wave Pool!

Don’t use lockers in the changing rooms. Use the lockers located at the pool area so that your locker will be in public view. About 4 lockers, including mine, in the girls locker room have been forced open by a thief and stole our valuables just 2 days ago. Staff handled the situation calmly however we still have no news or updates from them whether or not the thief have been found OR if the RCMP started investigating on the case already. Im guessing theres no process yet, but I could always use the number they gave me to call them so thats a plus.
Disregarding the incident, I thought that most of the life guards are not friendly at all. They almost seem intimidating which lessens your ease to have fun in the pool.
Cheap entance fee as well ($ 3/​head) however they dont give a stamp or anything to use as proof of payment.
Overall, poor security, intimidating life guards, but fun place to ride the waves if you dont care about all those.

My Hubbie & son wanted to enjoy the day with some good ol’ fun indoors at the Newton Wave pool…
Did they fufill their purpose? Was it enjoyable…
