I’ve been here a few times and I’m never impressed with their baked goods. It just tastes ok and I expect more from a bakery. I can see how it can be popular for some folk, but not for me.

You have fresh soups to choose from and a variety of sandwiches with crispy tasty bread!

The owner is very kind and friendly. I am always eager to go back! One of my favourite places in the south surrey area!

Love love this place!!! It isn’t a very trendy looking place but their bread is delicious!!!
I also love their soup and sandwich. Goulash soup is their popular soup and I can see why. Prices aren’t bad either.

I absolutely love the breads here. Really friendly and honest owners. They told me they would give a discount on their bread as it had been baked the day before, so they couldn’t charge me the full price.
Their apple squares are really good. The walnuts in it add to the texture and it’s just the right level of sweetness.
Try their Walnut and cranberry sour dough. Crusty on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. The cranberries used are fresh.
Would recommend.

Wow, their breads are good! I had the toasted spelt bread with cream of leek & potato soup and my friend had the lentil chicken special soup with sourdough. We both loved our orders and wanted to try all their special breads! I’ll definitely be back.
The bread was reasonably priced given they are organic and so fresh. Around 6 bucks for a large spelt loaf.

Oh man those sandwiches. It’s unfortunate that I work across the road because I keep conveniently forgetting to pack a lunch so that I have an excuse to come here! The sandwiches are made fresh and made with delicious toasted bread and quality fillings (no limp over processed deli «meat» here).
That being said, the baked goods are a bit on the pricey side (over $ 3 for a small-​ish piece of cake).

Stopped in to pick up a fresh loaf of Curry Brioche.
It is the perfect platform for an egg salad sandwich
Had some time to kill and was hungry now so I ordered a bowl of the house goulash.
I could bathe in this stuff!
Seasoned perfectly. Served with three slices of lightly toasted, buttered bread.
And wait for it… It really is goulash! Not soup and not stew. Baby bear would say «just right».
I am hooked now. And all this comfort for $ 5.95!

I LOVE the mango pumpkin seed bread here! I simply can’t start my day without a slice, lightly toasted with peanutbutter :-) mmm
Also can’t seem to go a week with out a sandwich from here. Tuna salad… chicken salad… Turkey and cheese… it’s all SO good ;-) Also never dissapointed with the daly lunch special options :-)

Had the most amazing cinnamon bun here. It really was to die for. They have lots of artisan breads here, so I had to take some of those home as well.
Ordered an americano and then was worried when it came from a machine at the touch of a button, but it was a great coffee. And I am very picky with coffee.
Thoroughly enjoyed my little moment here. Made it an afternoon; Black Bonds Book Store has their outlet store in the same parking lot and there is also a hospice thrift store in the lot also. It all made for an enjoyable afternoon.

Whenever I’m across the street getting my hair cut (at Hair Art Academy) Michael’s is a must stop. The have everything a good bakery should have plus sandwiches and coffees and tables to sit at. They also have a ton of cookies and several types that are gluten free.
My favourite thing to get here is the sesame flat bread. The piece is huge (at least a foot square). I start snapping off pieces before I even leave the store and cant stop eating it.
I’ve had several kinds of cookies here plus sanwiches and sweets and never had a bad experience.

Freshly baked artisan bread … yummy !! A great place to stop for a nutritious lunch. Two Soups are offered daily at lunchtime, one being Hungarian Goulash and the other a surprise.
Truly tastes like Gramma made it and a treat on a rainy day.
Their sandwiches are a delight. The best egg salad sandwich ever. My mouth is watering, thinking about it !
