Curry Express

Ordered a small butter chicken, but didnt realize it came without rice. I went back to ask for more rice but they wouldnt give it to me? Like wtf is up with that. Even the guy behind me said something and didnt understand why i could fix my order and get rice.
I also ordered Dal, but never got it. At that point I didnt even care to go back.
2 Stars because the food was good but service was bad.

Don’t use too much of the red sauce or the owner will drop F-​bombs on you in front of your children. Will never go back there again!

Ordered butter chicken combo, asked for it specifically without chicken-​just the sauce as I am vegetarian.
Halfway through eating my dish, I found that I was eating chicken.
Called the store, no apology was made. Jess Kaur or Jaz or whatever she said her name was did not apologize, said that she scoops the sauce out of the pot of butter chicken and there will be chicken in it.
She says she did not do anything wrong because I didn’t specifically say vegetarian sauce.
For an Indian restaurant, you would think they would exercise every precaution when preparing meat-​free dishes. She showed no concern or took any accountability for violating vegetarian dietary requirements.
Absolutely disgraceful behaviour. As a result, I could surely never return my business to a Curry Express from this experience.

Love this place. Fast food that is always hot and yummy. The naan is really good too. Definitely good for food in a hurry.

Ready made indian fast food. Curries are a little bland and mild for my liking but i guess they have to do it this way.
I usually go for the two veg samosas with a side of chana masala (chickpeas). It is a good little lunch snack for under $ 6.00. I sometimes think that the curries are not fresh and that it is yesterday’s reheated and served the next day. Also, the butter chicken is made with chicken thigh. Traditional butter chicken should be made with boneless, skinless chicken breast so i felt a little cheated when I ordered it.
At the end of the day, i would go back but opt for the vegetarian choices.
