Best Western King George Inn & Suites

We chose The BEST WESTERN PLUS King George Inn & Suites due to the fact that it was an affordable hotel in the Vancouver greater area and because it advertised a spa and gym area. Downtown Vancouver is reachable by a combination of bus and skytrain which takes about 40 mins from the hotel door. We got a room on the third floor and it was ok, nothing special and big enough for two. The breakfast was pretty basic with the do-​you-​own-​waffle-​maker and as well fresh fruits. As the hotel don’t offer diner we needed to find a place near which is not that easy. We needed to take the car as nothing good was within walking distance.
For a price of more than 100 CAN$/night we exspcted a bit more than what the hotel offers. Don’t get me wrong the hotel is ok but nothing special.

The staff (especially the young lady running breakfast) is so sweet but I have a major problem with a phone call from someone who I’m guessing is in management INSISTING on having housekeeping enter my room after 2 days.
I travel TONS with my 2 young boys & hubby. I buy cleaning products & maintain my own room better than they ever could. I swaped out the dirty towels & threw out the garbage. I tried to explain this to the individual on the phone but she wasn’t having it. Feeding me some BS that it’s «hotel policy».
I’ve been to hotels WAY better than a Best Western & this is the 1^st time I deal with this. Not happy.

I stayed here this past weekend, and it was great. Me and my family had a standard room it comes with 2 regular size beds, plasma TV and the basics. The hotel provides complimentary breakfast and it was good, a lot off people there. The staff was nice and reloaded everything when needed. Overall was a good stay, and I recommend this to anyone looking for a hotel in Surrey.

This place was rented for the weekend for «ladies night.» I can’t give a full review ’cause I didn’t pay for the room and I didn’t stay over night, just for 4 hours to have some private girl time. The room is nice and clean, spacious, full kitchen… just the basics, nothing fancy. It’s not a resort to stay in, however, you will get a good nights sleep. The hot tub wasn’t warm enough and when 5 gals sat in the tub it overflowed. We had a good time none the less. Guy at the desk was very friendly.
