Best Indian food in either Seattle or Vancouver area. We have driven from Seattle a few times just to eat here. Really love the chole batura Paneerwaale, always get some Samosas to go.

Had the amritsari kulche they were awesome, the shola was nice and creamy and the yogurt was good. I highly recommend, but price is a little on the higher side for an indian restaurant. Nice place for going to lunch the people working their handle a lot of customers.

I would like to start by saying the good is quite good and prices are decent. However when you get horrible customer service it takes away from the experience as a whole. They have no real seating manner, you go in sit wherever which is fine if your staff are switched on. After waiting 10 mins to be served and seeing others after us being served we managed to track down the one and only waitress, who then told us okay and walked away. She finally came back to take our order and did so. Since she never wrote anything down and barely appeared awake she got our appie wrong. When we told her that wasn’t what we ordered she acted like she didn’t understand. Finally she took it back and brought out the main course with the appie ever showing up. Shame that for a place that serves good food the review has to be rated low because in my eyes service accounts for the experience.

Good Indian food. One of the older establishments. Pure vegetarian food. The Indian street food on offering is pretty good. Everything on the menu is good and their Badam Milk(Flavored Almond Milk) is a must try.

It is a very simple Indian sweets shop and vegetarian restaurant. The food was lip smackingly delicious. Try out their Chole Bhature and Amritsari Kulcha. We also Ordered Salt lassi. My God, they were just SUPERB! None of the dishes were pricey. For people driving from Seattle, it is only 30 mins drive from the US-Canada border. So you can stop here for a super authentic yummy lunch before you drive to Vancouver. The ambience is not that great and just when you start sulking thinking about that, the waitress places the food on your table and your tongue and tummy go on a heavenly ride and you will forget every damn thing around you till you burp! Seriously guys, give it a try! I really dont understand why this restaurant hasnt been rated by people yet. Is Unilocal deleting people’s reviews because the restaurant people did not pay the site or something?

Hands down this place serves the best cholle bhature in town — No questions asked and there is no competition at least not yet. They also have some other stellar dishes which I repeatedly order. I love their aloo paranthas(stuffed roti with seasoned potatoes), yummy bhindi(Indian style stir fired okra?), vegetable spring rolls are delicious and how can they not be? They’re stuffed with indian flavoured noodles! Speaking of which, they have really good vegetable chowmein too.

Hands down the best Chana Bhature(or sholay bhature as I like to call them) I’ve had in the Lower Mainland. I was going to give this place 5 star rating solely based on that but then realized I haven’t really tried much else except the samosa’s and sweets(all good btw). The fact that they play classic bollywood movies once in a while is a definite bonus as well!

Pretty good lunch spot. Great Navratan Korma, Chhole etc… A bit pricey though for a location that has tons of competition. Would definitely go there again.

This is a Indian sweet shop. What is that you ask? Well in addition to buying Indian sweets(gulab jamun, ras malai, barfee) one can buy one self a decent vegetarian meal in here. The offerings are typical in between meal kind of things and they are decent. The price is very right — however, the service has a lot to be desired from. Dont make a special trip here — but if you are in and around this hood this is a decent lunch stop.
