Silver Fox Curling & Yacht Club

This was one of those unexpected pleasures. We went there based solely on a recommendation from a local business owner and we’re happy we did.
The servers were very friendly and took our orders quickly.
There is a wide variety of food to choose from and we ordered the bacon wrapped scallops, seafood chowder, grilled pork greek salad and mussels. The food arrived promptly and was exactly as ordered.
Nothing worse for me than getting lukewarm soup and in this case it was piping hot and delicious all the way to the bottom of the bowl.
The mussels were ample in size and quantity and extremely tasty.
The grilled pork greek salad was large enough to satisfy most cravings. Plenty of olives, tomatoes, feta cheese and lettuce all served under a good serving of grilled pork.
This is a casual dining room situated next to the marina allowing for a beautiful view of the bay.
Highly recommend this place while in Summerside.

Total luck of the draw find in a massive road trip from New Jersey to Halifax. Decided to pay the astronomical fee to cross the bridge into Prince Edward Island in search of mussels. flipped a coin and wound up heading towards Summerville. After struggling to find a place open we made
A wrong turn and wound up at silver fox and boy are we glad we did. A restaurant set in the back of a sports: yacht club with a very local feel. Ordered the 5lbs of mussel and worked on it for an hour til we defeated it. Had the seafood chowder as well. All food was delicious and reasonable priced for the amount given. The bartender Lindsey was great and even gave us a souvenir for the road. Only wish the curling was open for us to try since it’s rare in the states.
