After several failed attempts, I managed to find someone willing to recover my Mission style chair with the vintage Liberty and Co fabric I had purchased on ebay. Louise was incredibly easy to deal with, there was no sales pressure, and I could tell I was in a place where people are proud of the work they do. I make lifestyle TV shows for a living, and have used many Toronto upholsterers who charge exorbitant prices and do a ‘so so’ job. Not here — I was delighted with the price, the speed (a week!) and the finished result has surpassed all expectations. I will be using Spitalfields again for sure.
