Andre’s Seats Restaurant

This is a cool place if you’re into any kind of rock music of the past 40 years. As you walk in, you will notice the old jukebox in the back and the nice bar. But when you sit, you will be staring at your table for quite a while. What you will be looking at is all kinds of ticket stubs for concerts from a who’s who of rock bands and artists of the 60s through today. Think Black Sabbath, David Bowie, U2, etc. Then, on the walls, a myriad of signed albums, from the same type of bands. Clearly, the owner of this place is a rock fan, and also spent a pile of money on this memorabilia!
All this stuff gives this place a really cool vibe.
The food is elevated pub-​type fare. My colleague’s club sandwich was on a kaiser type roll and looked excellent. My beef dip sandwich had a very flavourful au jus accompanying it and the side caesar salad was excellent.
My only complaint is that it does take a bit of time to get your food here, which happened both times I had lunch. Nevertheless, the food is good, the vibe is cool, so I’d happily return.
