Pow Wow New World Grill

Fantastic service and delicious «made from scratch» food.
I had the roasted red pepper soup, Chicken Apple sandwich, and sweet potato fries with scallion solid. Mouth watering to my taste buds down to the last bite.

Went there for lunch for the first time and I was really impressed with the place. It’s an old building but it’s clean and well maintained.
I ordered the house burger and it was huge, big and juicy with all the right toppings. Dijon mayo sauce had a nice kick.
A cold Sleamans, friendly staff and the meal made my day.
I will return. (Probably will make this my «go-​to» place for lunch in St-​Catharines.

Ruined our company Christmas party. The food was burnt or undercooked. The waiter didn’t know the difference between any wine they served. The dessert was literally burnt to the plate. A member of our party ordered a vodka cranberry and I believe it was the most expensive cranberry juice ever purchased. Better luck next time, Pow Wow.

Pasta dishes were awesome, but beware if you do not like spicy food. Organic beer was also great.

How the mighty have fallen! This used to be an excellent restaurant where the food quality equalled the service… However, the service is terrible now. Actually, the worst that I have ever experienced. All of our starters came out the same time as our mains. bizarre. So our mains were cold by the time we got to them. My friend’s burger was underdone and nearly inedible (they didn’t ask how she would like it cooked), and the server never came back to check on us our entire meal for her to send the burger back. At the end she just cleared everything. including my friends entire burger and didn’t even ask if something was wrong. My friend than piped up and said her burger was nearly raw and that she did not want to pay for it because she couldn’t eat it. The server barely apologized and then the burger showed up on the bill… we finally had it taken off and she told us the chef said she could have eaten the half of it that was cooked more! Are you serious! Then as we left through the back way the chef was muttering rude comments under his breath. Unprofessional and unacceptable.

Solid choice of draught beers, burgers were very good! I couldn’t decide if I like powwow or lamb burger better!

Starving en route from Maryland to Niagra to Toronto. It was on the way and still open. A call to verify directions was hilariously useless. The bartender did not know and even when told could not confirm the name of the SUPER HIGHWAY that goes right past the town. Well, whatevs, he’s not paid to be GPS, I suppose.
Yummy burgers. Though misidentified on Unilocal as being a BBQ place. A sign in the restroom about gift certs not being accepted anymore suggested perhaps new management. And they’re doing just fine with it.
Creative menu with fun options. Pleasant vibe and okay (not stellar, but certainly well-​meaning) service. Would absolutely consider again were I to find my way back to Canada, America’s hat.

Amazing food, great music. First time here. Had the seafood linguini, organic beer, and pow wow burger. Everything was amazing. Our server was a little slow (red head female. Took about 15 minutes to get the bill after we asked). The food was well worth it. Will definitely visit again. Many times! Delicious!

Great place! The interior was a little dark, but that’s expected for a bar/​pub. The menu had a wide range of interesting ideas and ingredients, but it was a little small with very few selections to choose from. That said, the food was delicious and the portions good. The waitress was friendly and attentive and seemed to genuinely care about the customers. Price was reasonable. Overall, an excellent place to eat and I will return!

Awesome stop in St. Catherines! Great selection of drinks and I noticed they carry unique alcohols such as organic vodkas and some local wines from the region.
Having just had a burger at the Trump Hotel (5 star resto) in Toronto the day before, I was completely blown away by this burger! I could not believe the homemade goodness happening here — it trumped the Trump and at $ 10 or so cost a fraction of the price.
Friendly staff and really characteristic décor! I recommend :)

Amazing Restaurant in Niagara! I drove down from Toronto to visit some wineries and googled the best restaurants in Niagara and came across this little gem. I’m so glad I chose to go here!
The food is amazing! Interesting presentation, large portions, reasonably priced and lots of vegetarian options. I ordered the lamb shank and it was fantastic. Something of this size and quality would have been twice the price at least in Toronto!
The service is outstanding. We were served by the owner and bartender Matt and it was like we were being served by family. Everyone seemed to know him and love him.
The décor is very nice, comfortable and homey. Nice exposed brick and a very cool piano top beer tap! You should check it out, you won’t regret it.
I’ll be visiting every time I’m in the Niagara region.

This is a very nice Restaurant in the Heart of downtown St. Catharines. Make sure to make reservations as this is one of the more popular, nicer restaurants in the area. Definitely a lot classier than a lot of the Restaurants St. Catharines has to offer.
My favourite: The Green Earth Veggie Tower. You MUST order this even if you’re not a vegetarian. Amazingly delicious with an equally amazing presentation. Everything I’ve ordered/​tasted from this Restaurant is fantastic!
