Big beautiful location. Quality is the same as at any Keg. Although it’s a chain, the food is really good and consistent wherever you go. The waiter was fantastic and educated on both wines and the menu. Excellent service and food.

I still can’t figure this place out but I like it. It is an old factory and has a lot of character about it. It attracts a diverse crowd but is on the verge of being a high end steakhouse with lots of dark wood, tablecloths and dim lighting. The 3 twenty-somethings walking across the lot were all drinking tallboy cans of beer which they dropped in a can at the door. I glanced in and saw it almost full so this must be a local custom? The servers and managers are all in their 20s and 30s and are dressed to impress. Very classy with some sexiness. Service was top notch. I had Tracy as a bartender and she was right on top of everything. She actually apologized as she got to me as I was drinking the last sip of my beer for not getting to me before. I had a Caesar salad that was very tasty and crisp. For a main I had the baseball sirloin which looks more like a filet from the shape, size and thickness. It was awesome. The fries were frozen fries but, the good kind and perfectly cooked. I was full so did not have desert. Prices were good but even better when converted into USD with the current CAD exchange rate. I will return when in the area again.

I have been to this location several times, and every time I have been the food was always delicious. I do recommend making a reservation ahead of time as there always seems to be a very long line of people.

I have only been there twice. Once for my sisters bday. Ordered Salmon, wasn’t cooked properly. Was hard as a rock. Wasn’t impressed at all. So they gave me a free desert. So disappointed. 2nd time was for our 3 year anniversary. Food was good. Atmosphere was nice and cozy. But so overpriced. I guess explains why we don’t go there.

We recently celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary. I made the reservation. Note: If you have someone in your party with any mobility issues please ask for a table on the main floor. Our server, Renee, was very good and attentive. Even the Manager stopped by to ask how we were doing. I ordered the prime rib. My order was a bit cool so Renee returned with a hot new cut. My brother loves the escargot as did my Dad. I had the crab cakes — kinda wished they served three instead of two. Very good and excellent with the dill aioli. The kids had their steak and mashed potatoes. If you kid like plain mashed potatoes then I might suggest a baked potatoes with butter. For desert, they gave my parents a slice of the Billy Miner ice cream cake. Very tasty and a large enough portion to share. But after the meal, I might not have sprung for a $ 9.00 piece of pie. Anyway my parents had a very good 50th The staff help make it special.

overall the quality and service match its price as a steakhouse. but it just needs some improvements. we went today for vday and we are offered the regular menu and the«special event menu». It was confusing and nobody explained it until we asked. Also one salad came quite a while before the other one arrived, and the ceaser salad got only one bread cube, yes, one. I understand they had been very busy on vday so for all the above we were just like ok it doesnt matter. But then for the desserts, we ordered cheesecake and pie. when paying the bill, the waitress asked if we wanna just pack them and we thought ok just let the staff go home earlier. When we got home we found we got two cheesecakes. That was really disappointing. I dont think I’m going there again despite the should-be-ok quality overall. Not a fine experience today.

We had a wonderful meal last night, the staff members were courteous, friendly and solicitous. A complimentary dessert was presented complete with a sparkler since the server had picked up that it was an early Mothers Day occasion. The manager came to the table to ask if we were satisfied, a most emphatic Yes!!!

I was treated to a dinner at the Keg for my birthday and I wish I was getting older faster. It was a great meal. One of the drawbacks is that they don’t take reservations at this location so the wait can a pain if your party includes kids and you don’t want to wait at the bar. The meal itself was fantastic from apps to dessert. The service was very good with the food coming promptly after each course. We usually share the appetizers so we can sample more and everything was fresh and delicious. As for the main, I ordered a NY Strip and I loved it. Cooked the way I like it with a good amount of side veggies made the meal both pleasant and filling. Can’t wait for my next birthday.

We chose this restaurant because of the view that’s advertised in brochures on the hotel’s website — trick photography — the falls are at least a block or two away! Food was fairly good but we had to choose lunch over dinner because there was nothing on the dinner menu for the vegetarian in our group.

If there is one thing I can cook at home it’s a steak. So a trip to the Keg is an occasion to try a new twist on serving a steak dinner. We went to try the much-advertised Summer Lobsterfest and I ordered the Seafood Sirloin which was supposed to have lobster, shrimp, and scallops. Nothing wrong with the steak, but I needed a magnifying glass to find the lobster. It was about the size of a thimble. Two Seafood Sirloins and one glass of wine came to $ 85. This is not worth it! I’ll continue to eat my steaks at home. The Keg is over-advertised. Buy yourself a barbeque!

I have been to many Keg Restaurants and the food is generally very good value and the service is acceptable. It was last Saturday that we had a table of 8 to celebrate the father in laws birthday. It has been a long time(and I eat out twice per week or more) since we had such a fun, professional, knowledgeable waiter who served us. Jamie was his name(aka Tahiti :-)) Just wanted to be sure the management at this location recognize Jamie as his knowledge on the history of the keg and the owners was remarkable and appreciated.
