Pre cooked egg. Also crunchy? Undercooked sausage. Toast was the best part of the meal.

So we were coming home from Niagara Falls and looked to Unilocal to help us with a brekkie pick. It suggested we come here via rave reviews and it was right! Honey had the Diner eggs and the English Muffin Loaf was amazing. I came in hungry after reading about the Québécois doughnut and was sad to hear they had sold out. The chef instead made an egg-​bread french toast with all the same toppings and it was decadent. It was delicious without being to heavy which was a bit of a surprise considering what you get when you look at it. Next time I’m in the area I will be back!

Loved our breakfast here! Unique flavors. Nice staff. The collection of 1950s mixing bowls along one wall is a great homage to an earlier time.

Found this spot when I was looking for a lunch place by Niagara Falls. It was only a 15 minute drive from Niagara Falls so it was perfect to stop on our way back to Toronto. The BLT grilled cheese was delicious. The house salad comes with goat cheese, granola with a tasty dressing. Would recommend this place for anyone looking to grab lunch outside of the tourist trap restaurants in Niagara Falls. The service was also wonderful here, very attentive.

This place has a funky décor, that is kitsch, but not overdone like a lot of diners. Staff is friendly and attentive, without being overbearing.
Ordered a UD burger, and frankly expected what most places offer in line: a burger dripping with sauces and additions that leave me asking «was there burger in that?» NOT HERE! The burger patty was plentiful and moist, and the additions were well balanced to complement the burger rather than overwhelm it. I had s smoky lentil soup on the side (soup of the day), which looked a terrible grey when it arrived, but tasted incredible, and I’ve been eating a lot of lentil soups lately.
My only complaint of this place is the lack of roadside signage, and I drove past it the first time. Look for the Avondale Foods sign, pull in to Diner 29, and you won’t regret it.

Great diner experience. Like everyone has said, doesn’t look like much from the outside but you must go in. Great creative menu. Wanted to try 3 or 4 things. The pickerel omelette was unique and tasty. Great staff and the palace is full of nostalgia. Grammas chairs and coffee cups. Try it out you won’t be disappointed.

Atmosphere of years gone by. Great service by Anne, attentive and welcoming. Great modern diner menu. Had the daily special: 3 egg omelet with bacon jam, brie and a link of honey garlic sausage. Nice touch was the option of marble rye, multi grain or sour dough toast.
Will be returning, make sure to check this place out!

Doesn’t look like much on the outside but don’t let that fool you! Very nice, super clean inside with great service and delicious breakfast. Great find for out of town guests.

We stopped here based on reviews. Excellent choice. This is a true diner with a creative flare in the décor. It is rather cute. Check out the bowl lamps!
Now the food. We ordered the liver cooked in bacon and onions, the pork belly sandwich, steak and eggs and a kid’s burger. Everything was excellent. The liver came over zucchini– nice touch. My eggs and steak was cooked perfectly and the blend of flavours was oh so good– that garlic mayo! The pork belly sandwich was really good I was told. The kids burger was pretty big– good thing cause my toddler eats like a grown person. All in all great food, great people. It is worth the stop!

Superbe découverte, propre, invitant, déco, meubles et vaisselles des années 50. Beaucoup d’attention dans les petits détails qui ajoutent au plaisir. Les plats sont excellents et le service aussi. Ça vaut la peine de s’y rendre!

A delicious breakfast, great flavour combinations and great choices of both traditional breakfast fare and the chefs own specials. Great retro décor and friendly service made this a 5 star breakfast, the kids were already planning tomorrow’s meal while we paid today’s bill :)

This small diner was located somewhere that I didn’t expect to be. Small gas station, convenient store and suddenly this small pretty diner comes out.
Interior was old vintage diner theme. Decorated with melanin bowls, vintage coca cola posters and old diner chairs. Very clean and pretty.
I got québécois donut and my husband got breakfast sandwich. Coffee was okay, sandwich was good. québécois donuts were delicious! Must try!
Service was fast and friendly. Portions were big enough to make us full.

Dropped in for lunch while on our way from a meeting. Really nice, super friendly staff, tasty food.

I went on opening day when they didn’t have a lot on their menu, but what they did have looked delicious. Now obviously, I didn’t have everything on the menu but what I did have was really good.

A charming Ma and Pa diner!
Quality food. We just had standard two egg breakfast but everything was absolutely perfect. Lots of love put into the place and the bathrooms were exceptionally clean — This is something I don’t normally put in a review but they were spotless.

Delicious food and great customer service!
We tried the cranberry granola with lemon yogurt — an excellent combo of citrus and sweet! And the diner egg specials — the onion potatoes were amazing and perfectly cooked. Yum! We’ll be back!

The Québécois donut is a must-​try at this new-​on-​the-​scene breakfast and lunch spot. The comfort fare is made even better by the quaint retro vibe.

Really nice new place that serves twists on traditional diner food. Really fresh ingredients and a nice cozy vibe. Had the Greens & Grains soup which was an awesome dish on a freezing cold day. Will come back for sure!
