Pier 61 Bar and Grill

What a disappointment… great view from our seat. waitress was wonderful… food was poor over cooked salmon and rice and veggies. Gnocchi with beef tenderloin was like under cooked stewing beef.

It’s our go to place. Casual place for a drink at the bar or a great place to have dinner with the family or business company. The menu has something for everyone. We have picky eaters and the menu never fails to satisfy. The patio is the best the city has to offer. Great venue on the water. We love this place. Friendly service. Reasonable prices.

Went there on Canada Day and we enjoyed a great meal. Since we were not overly hungry from eating carnival food all day we decided on sharing some apps and splitting with a simple burger for our main.
The food tasted great and the portions are big enough. The crab cakes are tasty and lobster dip was very worth it in terms of taste, portion and real lobster pieces in the dip.
The place has a great view and is comfortable with a warm ambiance. We will return even if all we need is some aps.

Good value for the price. View was decent. Service leaves something to be desired. Very slow and forgot a glass of water three times. Food was average.

My boyfriend and I went for Valentine’s Day last night and had amazing service from the servers to the food I had an all over great experience. My boyfriends steak was cooked perfectly, and my chicken Parmesan was unbelievable. 4. Pints and 2 entrees for under $ 80.00 :) will definitely be returning. So happy with the service !!!

Been there a few times, I will give a restaurant a few times, but this place only progressively decreased. Tapas is ok, I would go for that.

My wife and I go here frequently for lunch. I’ve never had a bad meal. Service is friendly and fast. They also make a tasy Cesar. There is also a few choices for vegetarians.

I went here a couple of weeks ago for lunch with my brother and sister-​in-​law and our children.
When we first got here it took the hostess a little while to set up the table for us outside. She appeared to be really flustered for some reason.
It took a long while to get some menus as well as highchairs. Our children were getting antsy and so were we!
Finally we ordered our food and they brought us some drinks and all was well!
I ordered the pier 61 burger. We waited what felt like an eternity for our food!
When our meals finally arrived we thought the food was ok. Just ok, not bad or exceptionally good but just average really.
The waiting wouldn’t have bothered me as much if I was with my husband and it was just the two of us sitting by the water but we had kids with us and it was just too long a wait for mediocre food.

Food was excellent. Family-​friendly. Charming views of the canal. Friendly service. Had a pasta and chicken dish. Nice/​simple local wine list. Unexpected gem.

I recently went to this restaurant with a big group. They were prepared for us and easily accommodated the change in our party number.
We ordered appetizers to share which made the meal impossible to eat as there was so much food. I ordered a pasta dish that was delicious, but a little overpriced. The prices weren’t terrible but a little more than I’d like to pay.
The only issue with my experience is that they charged us for an additional meal. Since our party was so large, we didn’t realize they overcharged us until we got home. We placed a call and they offered to give us a gift certificate to cover the costs. This was a nice offer, but it means we have to return and then spend more money.
