I’ve eaten here several times in the last couple of months, experiencing both good and not-so-good food. There’s a special each day, and I recommend the half-price chicken wings on Wednesday, available with a large variety in choice of saucing(I liked the Thai chili). Friday is a discount on their rack of pork ribs, which should have been a real treat, but instead were so dry and tough that it was a challenge to cut them apart, and an even bigger challenge to chew them. I don’t think I’d take a chance on ordering them again. My favourite so far has been the Southwestern Flat bread, with adequate toppings and a nice thin flavourful crust. Kids meals have improved since the last reviews I read, with more choices than I expected, and fresh veggies as one of the sides — yay for a bit of health thrown in with all the carbs! It also included ice cream with candy toppings, which were a hit with my wee companions. The parking lot has been full each time we’ve gone, although the restaurant itself wasn’t overly crowded, so I assume the bar does a good business. One weird note — I thought we were at a swimming pool when I visited the washroom — the door of choline(bleach?) was so strong. I guess that’s better than what it might have smelled like, but it didn’t enhance the dining experience. Had attentive service each visit. I foresee future visits mostly because the kiddos like it their meals and being surrounded by so many giant TV screens :-) ====== Added note: Seriously, skip the ribs — I’ve had a stomach ache for the last 6 hours.

Went there for their BBQ chicken pizza. We added pineapple as an extra topping. We enjoy this pizza and have had it before. We also decided to try the chicken pizza with Alfredo sauce, which we also enjoyed. We had two small pizzas and one tea — which cost around $ 50! We like the pizza, but it is far too pricy for what we were getting therefore we hesitate to return.

This location is both hit and miss for service and food. It can be pretty good or down right disappointing. The moral of the story is, BP’s is good for lunch or watching a game in the bar. If you’re coming for lunch, I recommend the chicken bacon personal pizza and side for $ 10. Skip the doughcano, it’ s a disappointment. If hungrier or coming for dinner, I do enjoy the pizza wrapped bacon burger but they could improve upon it with a dipping sauce or optional ingredients inside like jalapeños. I’m much rather drop $ 70 somewhere in China Town or at the Keg rather than supper for a family of 4 here. While the waitstaff are always friendly and accommodating, there always seems to be something wrong or missing from our orders and/or bill.

I’m a fan of delivery. I usually order in the rack of ribs and prime rib burger, and usually a meteor pizza. The pizzas are pricey by current standards. The nooner pizza special until 3PM is a good deal though, especially with 4 toppings. You can collect air miles and get food using gift cards purchased with air miles.

Boston Pizza is the place I go when I’m wanting a meal at a familiar place. I can dine at pretty much any Boston Pizza and know what I’m getting. I’ve had very few real disapppointments. This one delivered. We were looking for a quick lunch near our hotel and this suited us. I had the wings, two others had the french onion soup and the fourth in our party had the soup of the day, some sort of tomamto and pasta. We were all pleased with our meals. Service was fast and friendly. There was, however, a party in the«party room» that was beyond anything I’ve experinced for noise level. As a reflection on the restaurant, the walls of the party room do not reach the ceiling so are rather pointless, as well, the door was not closed so any sound barrier the walls might have provided was lost. As a reflection of the adults who were part of this mostly children party, shame on you. It seemed this was some sort of a sports team celebrating a victory. I can appretiate that the kids were excited and happy but many were literally screaming throughout the meal with no control from the adults. Our server apologized but there wasn’t much could be done about it I suppose.

Phoned in an order for pick up. No parking to be found. Told me 20 min and it took almost an hour. When we got home both pizzas and the bread were way over cooked and cold. The pasta was cold too. Ended up throwing half of the pizzas and bread out. Terrible.

Arrived at noon and found the parking lot packed but the restaurant pleasantly spacious. We ordered one of their new pizzas — the Meat Overload and was pleasantly surprised by both the flavour, variety, and amount of meat. I’m not usually a meaty kind of girl but hubby was super excited to try this one! I like the crust — chewy but light and the sauce was flavourful! My toddler had a kids’ meal of chicken strips with steamed veggies for a side and there are onions in the veggies — BIGTHUMBSDOWN! What toddler likes steamed red onions in their veggies! Also — the dessert options with her kids meal were truly odd — my daughter chose the chocolate pizza which turned out to be a little chocolate in the shape of a pizza(think chocolate coin) — not what I expect at a restaurant. Perhaps pictures of the options would be helpful. I mean — they didn’t even offer a small scoop of ice cream as an option for the kids dessert and how much could that really cost them? They would get 4 stars for the pizza but 2 stars on the toddler meal so it averages out to 3 stars for my overall review. Service was a bit slow — I inquired about eggs in the meatballs because my baby has an egg allergy and it took nearly 10 minutes for the server to get back to me. At first she said there wouldn’t be eggs in meatballs but I asked her to check with the chef anyway, and sure enough, their ingredient book listed it — not too surprising as eggs are frequently used as a binding agent. Hubby and I shared the Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert which was delicious but the ice cream scoop on top amounted to maybe 5 – 6 spoonfuls — quite pitiful. The Sticky Toffee itself was yummy but we could have used a little more ice cream. As a side note, I took my daughter to the women’s washroom which smelled atrocious! Whatever chemical they used in there smelled like a freaking urine cake — I seriously wanted to vomit. So I’m left 50⁄50 on this one — Pizza was quite good, toddler meal was disappointing, and dessert was good but needed more ice cream. We would have liked to order the special of the day for an appetizer(½ price wings) but it was quite difficult getting our server’s attention for normal things like napkins and water refills so we never did get to order the Wings not that we needed any more food! Between the two of us we only ate ½ the large pizza. I think we will try them again but without a kid or two in tow. I uploaded pics of the pizza!(And I did her another patron talking with the manager inquiring as to why the Wi-Fi wasn’t working and the manager noted they had been having difficulty with it lately).
