What a place!!!

I decided to try this place for lunch the other day, along with someone who had already eaten here before. When we entered the restaurant right around noon, there was no one in the huge dining area — and I mean no one. No hostess, no waitress, no other patrons were in there, despite it being lunch time on a weekday. It took a minute or two for a very unenthusiastic waitress to emerge from the back. During that minute or two, I was able to notice that the a number of the seats appeared bedraggled, and the carpet was stained in several places. I switched out a beat up chair for a nicer one in the time it took for the waitress to come out from the recesses of the back.
The waitress’ lack of menu knowledge matched her enthusiasm: lackluster on both counts. I ordered the mac n’ cheese special, and the other guest had a steak sandwich. Our food arrived within a reasonable amount of time. The waitress commented on the long, narrow plate that the steak sandwich was served on, but did not offer an additional plate. When cutting into the steak sandwich, the plating proved to be a challenge, so the waitress was called over to bring an additional round dinner plate, something that could have been remedied from the start. She offered me grated parmesan for my mac n’ cheese, and I was looking forward to freshly grated cheese tableside. Instead, I was brought a cup with grated parmesan.
The portion of the mac n’ cheese was big enough to take some home, but asking for a take-​out container took quite some time. The food I would rate as «okay». I’ve certainly had better at other restaurants in Squamish, and am unlikely to return.

First of all, to find the place is difficult; it’s not on Tantalus way, but beside the Extra Foods in the mall.
We went there expecting a greek-​centric menu, and found out the cook was german, so ordered the specials (which were all schnitzels). It was an ok meal, but I got a pork chop, not a schnitzel –fail! Flavors were pretty good.

A cool pub/​restaurant that serves awesome beer on tap and a decent menu. Currently offering Greek Night specials on Thursdays. Go for the lamb! Portions are generous (the chef must be Greek!) and compares well to any Lower Mainland Hellenic meal. Opa!
