These falls are stunning and a must sea on the Sea-to-Sky highway. It was easy to stop here and not totally packed like some of the other stops along the drive to Whistler. The falls are an easy stroll from the parking lot and there are other trail options depending on how much hiking you are trying to do.

What a awesome surprise! We decided to go on a random adventure and one in our group had only heard of the Brandywine Falls as a viewpoint on the way to Whistler. We figured we would check it out and we’re so glad that we did. No one knew what to expect, the short walk to the viewpoint was nice through the forest. And then we were all in Awe at such a hidden waterfall that was much larger than we expected. In the summer we’re going to figure out a way to get to the bottom of those falls though. Will definitely suggest this as a stop to anyone heading to Whistler!

Sure, it is no Niagara Falls but the Brandywine Falls offers a beautiful Vistapoint on your trek up to Whistler. What I like most about visiting this provincial Park is the calming walk leading up to the viewpoint of the falls. It takes about 15 minutes or so at an even pace, which slowly builds up the curiosity of first-time visitors. I wish there was another viewpoint from the base of the falls or on the other side. Another huge downside to this park is the lack of parking. Sometimes I seen on the offramp a few cars lining up as they are waiting for a stall to open. This should be addressed in the future hopefully.

Very lovely and FREE park to visit, as we were vacationing at Whistler. I’m from the states and accustomed to paying a fee to enter just about any state or national park. It was quite a treat to pull up to Brandywine and find that there was no entry fee. My 5-year-old loved running down the winding trails, and my husband(who is hard to impress) enjoyed himself as well.

Brandywine Falls is a tall, full(at the right time of the year) waterfall. There are fewer people/tourists here than at Shannon Falls but the park is not nearly as nice/popular. This place is a quick stop and go. One thing I will point out that the main viewing area of the falls is this deck that extends over the ledge of the mountain. For those of you scared of heights, it might be tough for you to get to the edge to take photos.

A beautiful 70 metre tall waterfall in Squamish. I’ve been to numerous waterfalls in North America and I will have to say Brandwine Falls is one of the easiest to access. Once you park your car, it takes about 10 minute walk to the waterfall viewing platform. You will encounter an easy to walk trail which leads to the viewing platform of the waterfall. In addition, you will see a stunning view of the local mountains of Squamish. Great for people of all ages.

This is a neat stop. The waterfall isn’t as magnificent as Shannon Falls, but still deserves a visit. If lucky, you’ll see a rainbow inside the waterfall. I do plan to go back one day to revisit as I didn’t get to the suspension bridge which is a 3−4km walk(this diverges from the Brandywine Falls trail) as I was limited on time. There are picnic benches in the parking lot which makes for a great rest stop before making it to Whistler.

In contrast to Shannon Falls , this waterfall is below you. The park itself isn’t nice as Shannon Falls(no store, not as nice picnic spots), but the view is really pretty. The parking lot was closed, though… on a Saturday mid-May… I’m not sure when it is actually open. No matter; many cars were parked in the entryway in front of the gate, and on the hard shoulder leading up to it. The short hike from the parking lot is beside the stream that turns into the waterfall. The lush BC forest is comforting on both sides. The Whistler Mountaineer train tracks run through the park: you may even see one go by! The lookout at the end is a platform at the edge of the cliff with a railing. Looking north, you can see the waterfall, and looking south, the river. It seems like the geography is suited to rainbows — I’ve seen a rainbow toward the bottom of the falls, maybe 2 times out of 5 visits! Lots of mushrooms in the fall: but remember, it’s illegal to pick them in provincial parks.
