This is the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Bacon is perfect and there’s a crêpe station!

Always packed on a Sunday morning, food comes out quick but not always the best, eggs where not done as I was asked and still undercooked. Service is always on point

I was there for breakfast last week and once on the weekend. I enjoy it during the week a lot more. You can just walk in and find a table. On the weekend I find it gets loud! Last time I had the French toast with strawberries and cream cheese. It was really nice and even though I had the smaller plate, it was still plenty. Next time I’ll try the eggs. They looked delicious.

Amazing food! Eggs Benedict are my favorite and the service is always great! Longer wait times at high volume but worth the wait. The hashbrowns made on weekdays are crispy and perfectly seasoned. I enjoy the variety of meats from the deli downstairs as well!

Amazing brunch. Super busy so thinking 6 of u can get a table in no time is highly unrealistic. Leave your kids at home. It’s a same area and there’s really no room for little people who won’t care about great food anyway. That’s what smittys is for.

Unfortunately, I did not get to experience the food. I called here on a holiday Monday, and the recording said all their regular hours, and had no mention of being closed on any stat holidays. So given the recording, I concluded they are open regular Monday hours. Imagine my disappointment when we drove all the way from Edmonton to find out they are in fact closed. And while we were parked there for a few minutes deciding where to go next, 3 other vehicles pulled in and read the closed sign, then left. It’s pretty easy to update a voicemail recording, it’s too bad they didn’t take the time to do that.

The Loft is a great breakfast spot with a gigantic menu. The sausages are made downstairs in the Sandyview Farms deli and were the highlight of my meal. My wife was disappointed in the pancakes, which were too thick and dense for her tastes. The loft can be a bit noisy with its low ceilings, but it’s not as terrible as say, MKT — you can still have a conversation if you so desire. And considering the amount of food you get, it’s a good value. Saturday morning brunch was fairly busy, but we were seated in roughly 10 minutes. It’s also great place to bring a young child as there is an actual changing table in the women’s washroom. I’d likely eat here once every couple of weeks if it were closer,

The Loft used to be our favourite breakfast/brunch spot on the weekends. Their menu item choices were extensive and never failed to please. However, this is no longer the case. Management in their infinite wisdom decided that throwing out the previous 4-star menu only to replace it with mediocrity, in buffet form, was a good for business. Our server let us know if that the regular menu is now only available on weekdays, so, I guess working for a living will prevent us from ever returning to experience the best breakfast spot in and around Edmonton.
