Pretty good No Frills, especially in comparison to dingy location on Victoria Park and St. Clair which is also half the size. Product selection is pretty large for a grocery store, including butchers where you’ll find some nice steaks and fresh fish. One of my qualms with No Frills is their price match policy. When the program started, all stores were included. Now the No Frills stores decide upon themselves to only honour ads based on their«generational location.» Frustrating to price match a carton of eggs from Shoppers Drug Mart, which is across the street, and they’re not honouring the ads because they don’t feel they’re in their geographical area.

By far the best No Frills I’ve ever been too. Fishmonger and butcher counter are excellent as is the produce section. I can buy eel, rabbit, quail, and everything in between. Just excellent!

Best No Frills in the Scarborough area. Relatively clean, good amount of stock and a large variety. I often see Mr. Dickey out on the floor working and talking to customers. I feel the staff are nice and respectful unlike other Scarborough No Frills locations I’ve been to. I will drive past the three other closer no frills locations to go to this one instead. Could do with a bit more vegetarian/vegan specialty items but they do alright. I would recommend this location to any No Frills shopper.

This is my favourite No Frills. I have been shopping here for years. I find the shelves are stocked up except for the Astro yogurt(plain) when it’s on sale. I wish they would order more bc every time I’ve been there, it’s never in stock(when there is a sale). Staff is usually pretty friendly. I guess you get a few that could be a little friendlier. The store is fairly clean. There is underground free parking which is a big bonus in the winter. Seasonal vegetables are usually stocked. I definitely will continue to shop here. Update: Since more people are mindful of eating habits I am surprised that this location does not carry any organic or free run chicken. I have not bought meat from here in years(other than the ground beef). Better selection of chicken would be nice!

This No Frills is awful. I hate the layout. The produce is 90% of the time bad, the place just looks dirty. The staff is rather rude, they don’t take visa, I just really hate this place. Always a huge waste of time coming here.

This is a pretty good No Frills. There’s one south of here and it’s pretty dingy in comparison. I’ve been to a No Frills in New Brunswick and it was a wreck. I come here for any packaged food that I might need. Canned seafood, yoghurt, chips, things like that. They do sometimes have good seasonal produce, though like nearly all big grocery stores, the majority of the time the produce is lower quality. Fruit and vegetable stores are almost always going to have better produce, and sometimes Asian grocery stores.

This is probably my favorite NF They have good produce The store is clean You normally still find sale items well into the day Most places run out before you get there so you end up wasting your time. The staff is helpful, at least the produce ones are. If your around during the day it’s not unusual to find Mister Dickie stocking shelves. He always has time to answer your concerns. Guess he never stopped rolling up his sleeves and forgot about where he started way back in his youth. Either that or he got tired of yelling at the deadbeat staff to get working ;-p All kidding aside it’s a good store and unlike stated the cashiers are nice and friendly. Usually all it takes is a friendly Hello!

No Frills is the discount grocers brand and subsidiary of Loblaw Companies. You come here because prices are cheaper. Don’t expect it to be as neatly displayed, expect higher volumes of shoppers, and therefore less friendly staff. Of all the No Frills’ in Scarborough, this one is the most reliable. When I arrive and look for on-sale specials, they usually have it on stock unlike all the others in Scarb that look like they’ve been raided by a post-diet mob of ravenous vultures. Sure, their signage on sale items are not always in your face(read check the flyers before you come so you don’t miss out on anything). There is plenty of parking and this No Frills probably has one of the most check-out lanes I’ve ever seen so I’m in and out before you know it. Note that No Frills only accepts Mastercards. No VISA here.
