I’ve been going to this place for over 20 years. Great food and atmosphere. Make sure you call ahead and book a reservation as they are packed most nights. In the summer enjoy sitting outside with a great view of the Lake Huron.
By far the best wings around.

Love this place! Word to the wise though… Do *NOT* order «extra hot» hot wings to go five minutes before they close on a Friday night when you have the beer munchies. Wowwa weewa! We were rinsing them in beer they were so hot, it was awesome. Been back many times since then, great food and great service.

I was looking for a place to have lunch along Lake Huron on the way back from Toronto to Detroit. Found this place on Unilocal.Was a little worried about the somewhat low average rating. However I was pleasantly surprised. The food was good and the service was friendly and attentive. And it had a great view of the lake. So, mission accomplished.

On the way home to MI from Ontario, I got hungry and Skeeters showed up on the GPS as a good place to eat — no international roaming, so no Unilocal :-(… still, the food was good pub grub and the staff did a good job of serving and tending to my needs. It was good and if I need a bite in Sarnia, ON in the future, Skeeters will be on the list.

We visited Skeeter Barlow’s on the patio last summer during the solar eclipse. What a wonderful view of Lake Huron! Very rare for this area. We loved our food, it was absolutely delicious. We both ordered French Beef Dip. The service was excellent and they even allowed us to smoke on the patio! We actually enjoyed ourselves so much that we are having our wedding reception there this summer! We are very excited!

This is mainly a chicken, ribs, and beer kind of place. The patio area has a great view of Lake Huron, which surprisingly few restaurants in this area have. I couldn’t decide, so I got a chicken and rib combo platter. The chicken is broasted, which is code for «deep fried.» It was nice and tender, and the ribs were also very good. Sides include veg of the day (corn on the cob) and starch (bland potato wedges).
I was here with a group, and everyone seemed to like what they ordered (wings, salad, pasta). Service was very good. You’ll get a hand wipe packet with your napkins. Don’t lose it ’cause you’re going to need it! Nice beer selection, too.
