5 stars for service, 4 for the food. I had the salmon but the asparagus that came with is was rather large and tasteless. Service was good with attentive and personable wait staff although I had to wait a few minutes to be seated. This restaurant is inside the Hilton hotel.

I have a 2 week stay in this hotel and decided to try their restaurant dinner. The atmosphere was very nice, tables are clean and staff friendly but a bit snobbish IMO. From the dishes they served I expected some very nice tasting dishes. I ordered the Mobley Burger plate, which is a herbed patty with fries and a salad.
The burger was huge and they had fries in a separate bowl with another bowl with salad, ok, presentation was nice. Taste however… well, here’s the rundown.
Their salad seems to be a mix found in the Superstore (mesclun I think) and the dressing was ok, not very flavorful but ok for the salad.
The fries are most likely store bought type which has the pockets that hold the heat, KFC changed their fries to this type too. I couldn’t eat them, they are just not my type.
Ahhhh, now the burger. A very large bun with cheese, mushrooms and an inch and a half thick burger. I thought I hit the jackpot. I sliced the burger in half and found that the burger was smooth. That was odd. I tasted the burger. The hamburger was a almost like a meat loaf texture with lots of spices. The spices were nice but the beef did not seem like beef. I was like they ground the beef, added spices, put in some type of soft bread some egg to hold the mix together then blended it until it became a mush. Created a patty then fried it. Every bite turned my mouth into a desert. I was very disappointed. Very. It was an ok burger but the feel in your mouth was odd.
The whole thing was 20 $ with tip, Burger King makes a better burger :(Sorry, Hilton, it just didn’t feel right.

This was the best restaurant in a Hilton Garden Inn I’ve ever eaten at! Excellent preparation, great wait staff and attention to detail. Had striped bass that was out of this world. Next trip to Montréal I may stay at the hotel again just to eat at the restaurant!
