Used to be my place of choice for Friday or Sauturday night wings/salad/cider but the last couple times the quality and quantity has gone way down… salad much smaller, wings especially seem as though you are accessing starved chickens, very puny. in short, just not up to the standard i’ve come to expect every time from you… and we miss you. Hope you read these and make some positive changes

I’ve been here twice just for wings so that’s all I can really comment on. Pretty cool spot, but the service hasn’t been great both times, the wings were okay the first time, just your average pub wings but pretty cheap(.45c wings), the second time the service was just as bad and the wings were worse.

Great pub, food is pretty decent with a larger menu. It’s a bit of a older crowd in there, but if you are into keno and pool with beer. You have the right place.

Good service. Nice atmosphere. Sub par food. My wife and I were here around 11:30 — 12:00 on a Sunday afternoon and we were by far the youngest people there(we are in our mid 30’s). My wife ordered the«skinny chic» burger and I the«baron of beef». The chicken burger was literally a deep fried from frozen dried out chicken cutlet with melted cheese on a bun. The baron of beef was dried out shaved beef on a bun with mustard and a watery au jus. We would have sent them back except that it was clear that our food would not have been made any different. I think that the food quality is representative of the lack of taste buds the clientele that we witnessed while there. The retirement crowd. We only ate our food because we were starving. Will not be back!

Great local pub for food and good times. Friendly staff and huge food portions. And they don’t mind sharing plates!

I was introduced to this place by a friend of mine and have been telling and bringing people here ever since. The Ruben sandwich is my favorite.

4 stars for the food but 1 star for the service! I’ve been there twice and both times the servers were rude and distant. The first night we went the server barely came over to our table and we kept having to call her over to order drink and food… The second time we went there we sat in the pub. There were four of us to grab a table for 10 so we moved to tables together while the server watched then after we were all done she came over and just said«you can’t sit here» so we asked why and she said its a pub and we have to be over 19 to be there. All but one of us were over 19. She didn’t even ask to see ID. Then when we moved to another section in the restaurant we asked if we could move some tables together and it was okay but after it was done she came back and complained that we were blocking the door even though she walked through it quite easily. When we wanted to order she was quite rude to us as well as the tables around us. I asked for a box for my wings(as it was wings Thursday) and she said«yeah. We don’t do take out» I said its not take out, I simply have 3 wings that I didn’t finish and want to take home when she replied with«we don’t do that here». Finally I said I’d pay for the box expecting it to be $ 0.25 but when she brought the bill it ended up being $ 1.00 for a cardboard box… All in all it was a bad experience and although the wings were amazing! I won’t be back.

Consistently good food and friendly staff. Portions are huge and we always seem to order to much. I really like the turkey sandwich and the macaroni and cheese. Good beers on tap and a nice little family section for when we can’t get the grandparents to babysit. Has one pool table.

Great pub with huge portions. One of the best club sandwiches around and the turkey dip is fantastic. Race Rocks on tap; I’m always happy when I leave.

I thought it was weird that no one was in their bar, but as soon as I finished my ¼ of one drink and left, I found out why. They call the police on people that drink in their bar. Seriously! How awful is that? The police department is about a block away and as soon as we left there were cop cars waiting to do a roadside. The bartender called them. He admitted that to me after they arrested my friend for having two drinks! What? Do they share the booty of anyone who is caught with a DUI? Why serve the folks and then call the police to arrest them? That’s plain mean! If you own a bar, then it’s a given that people will drink. If you don’t want them to drink, you should have a dry restaurant. If you have a bar where people drink and think your patrons are drinking too much, cut them off. Serve them less. Don’t serve them at all. But if you continue to serve them to the point where you think they are intoxicated, it’s your fault too! And if you think they’ve had too much, be cool and warn them that you’ll call the police if they get behind the wheel. No, I didn’t get a DUI, but my drinking buddy did — after two drinks at the Prairie Inn. Not only did we tip really well, but we were super nice to the bartender. It was seriously the meanest thing I’ve ever experienced in my life. Not only did the bartender call the police and have my friend’s car impounded, he’ll have trouble going back to the U.S. because of a DUI after two drinks at the Prairie Inn. It is really mean and it’s bad for business(which explains the sparseness of the bar). What an awful experience and I highly recommend that anyone who wants a glass of wine with dinner go someplace else. Otherwise, retain your lawyer before going to the Prairie Inn.
