The male owner/​waiter treated me poorly from my last visit. i do not recommend this restaurants for people eating by themselves cause the owner and waiter expects you to eat at least a $ 8 meal, and if you order any food under $ 8, he will tell you the cook will not make the food for you. I remember i tried to order from the waiter a viet sub ($ 5) and he told me they don’t make it in the restaurant and he doesn’t know what the sub is, so i told him i’ll take a pork chop ($ 4) and he told me that the cook said he will not make the pork chop unless i order the $ 8 pork chop with rice. The prices on the menu is expensive and i will definitely not go to this viet restaurant again. I still don’t think that this restaurant even deserves my one star rating.

1.5 stars. Not deserving of current Unilocal 4 * status. The broth here is a big miss, too salty and lacking flavor and complexity. Noodles were meh. Meet was tender, the only plus. Spring rolls tasted of oil, not much more. Phở also comes with a heavy dose of MSG. It’s a clear verdict on Phở Queen. She needs to abdicate the throne.

A hidden gem in Richmond! Total hole in the wall. The dining area is spacious, albeit rather dated and dingy looking.
However, service is polite, food comes out fast, and the food is delicious!
I love their spring rolls and their chao toms! If you want the best of both worlds, get their combos! You get a large portion of rice, salad, a spring roll, grilled pork, and a chao tom for $ 10!

Very good phở and generous potion.
I had the special phở. All kind of beef all fresh and tender. One of the best I have tasted all over metro Vancouver. A bit surprise because it seems like they are better than last time I came (about 1 year ago)
I will come back more often starting now.

I ordered the Phở Rare Beef and Beef Ball Soup with extra veggies. It was delicious. I eat Phở twice a week at various locations, and the broth was really flavourful. Upon the first bite, I decided I was going to eat until every last drop was gone.
The atmosphere was very typical, and the service was friendly. I was the only person when I arrived at 7PM. I think the area is much busier during the day as it is around shops that close around 6.
I’m normally not a fan of a tv in a restaurant. but it kept me entertained as I was eating alone.
I’ll be back.

I always order the #1 special because the soup is rich in flavour (compared to some places with bland beef soup), the noodles are hot and chewy and the quality of the meat is good.
The best part is they take debit card!

I’m a Phở Queen regular since 2011 and here’s why:
— Prices are competitive
— Great quality
— Very Consistent
— Service is good
— they take debit card (shocking for a Phở restaurant)
I’ve had their Phở noodles, dry vermicelli noodles and their lemon grass chicken rice dishes and their Viet Sub and they all taste consistently good!
What I like about their Phở noodles are the chewy texture of the noodles and that they are never cold or stuck together in the middle. Their soup base is dark coloured and has a strong beef stock flavour unlike restaurants who have bland light coloured msg filled soup.
You get what you pay for the service and its good! The two gentlemen who are always there are very friendly. You might have to go look for them when paying the bill but they are usually around to help!
This is my only go-​to Phở restaurant in Richmond BC. For 2 people the bill usually comes up to be $ 15.00.

Great Phở. Yummy soup base.
Their Shrimp salad roll is mostly lettuce and not the noodles. Sort of weird but i liked them.
It’s usually very quiet when I go but then again its usually during the afternoon. The waiters are very nice to us and always remember what my bf and his friends get every time.
Regular prices for the noodles. Have not tried their rice dishes
