I come here weekly! Not only because they have the best phở in town! But their service is amazing! The family that took over the restaurant now recognized me and my boyfriend! We have quickly became close friends. I held my birthday lunch here. And they were extremely accommodating. I took up half the restaurant with my guests, decorations, and photo area. They gave me full control of the television, which we obviously abused with YouTube music. Food was not only amazing, the service continued to be top notch in a full house situation! Love phở 78! Ya’ll are bae

Good prices. Extra star for playing the prince of bel air with no commercials. Very very thoughtful staff and great service. The soup itself is missing that… phở flavour. It’s like really clean, healthy tasting phở. Not bad at all, but sometimes I need my MSG fix lol. I’d come back definitely. Short walk from aberdeen canada line center and nice 5 minute walk to superstore afterwards. Get a large if you’re hungry! Chicken wings were a bit weak, but what do you expect for $ 3 lol

I used to come here often during the rainy season, and came back recently to find out they’re under new management. Their phở actually improved(noodles are made just right, broth is flavorful, meat and garnishings were the perfect amount). Their chicken wings are a lot smaller now(a shame, they were good the way they were before) but they have a new seasoning to it that doesn’t require the sweet&sour + fish sauce combo. Check that out if you’ve got $ 3.50 to spare. Staff are friendly and accomodating, my friend was going to come late so I ordered for her and they offered to keep it in the oven until my friend got there. Highly recommended! One of the better places in Richmond, actually.

Woo! Revisiting this place after highschool seems so refreshing. I’ve never been around in the area a lot but now that I’ve come back I can’t stop! I’ve been eating either a bowl of Phở or Lemon Grass Chicken on short rice. Always filling. Usually dropping by here before/after work or during my break. The friendly and homey atmosphere really generates good vibes and seeing that the new owners(around 2 – 3 months from this time of writing) are family oriented, they all run this place quite fluidly. Would always recommend this place since there’s a lot of parking in the complex and the servings are quite huge. They are also open until 2AM on Weekends and 12 on weekdays!

One of my uncle’s I was visiting needed a bite to eat away from his home, and he said we go for phở, and my pick on the place. I’m starting to run out of choices and options of places to go in Richmond for Vietnamese. I do not get much opportunity to venture for alternatives in phở in this part of town… cause frankly if you want the good stuff… you are not eating in Richmond, so was I expecting much, nope, but I came with an open mind, and an empty stomach! I knew about this place taking some dancing classes with my dear in the same plaza, and always wondered… how is this place? The plaza has got a ton of parking, something that seems lacking in Richmond, so if you have a car… no problems here, and a 2 hour limit. plenty! We walked in around dinner time, and there was only one table. There was not going to be a problem getting any service here. The menu is pretty straight forward, and cheap, small: $ 6.65, and large: $ 7.60(not like the BS at another place with a S, M, and L. all for higher.) so we ordered two bowls of the house special, size — S. While sitting around, there is no internet, but there is a tv on, and it was playing the Stanley Cup playoffs, with volume, so I could actually hear the game. While sitting around, they first brought out the bean sprouts, small dish, but we ordered two smalls, no need to overload us with this stuff, but no lemons or limes? The bowls eventually came, with spoons and chopsticks(these were wrapped), so the stuff is not on the table, except the two bottles of sauce and also the napkins. We proceeded to eat the hot steaming bowls. They don’t overload you with mountain’s of meat here, so it’s not overkill, but it’s proportionate to what you are given. The broth, was a little bit more on the salty-neutral side compared to some places where their broth is sweet. I drank quite a bit of the soup and didn’t have the MSG thirst and headache associated with eating something like this. It was small from just looking at the whole bowl, but was enough, and for the price, it’s a cheap meal. I was satisfied at the end, and with the price, I can’t argue. The one thing I wonder was… during the hour we were there, including us, there was only 3 tables, how do these places survive, is there something else going on in the back? We were never rushed, we had to ask for the bill, it was cheap, place is big, you can watch the game and listen to it, but how do they stay open with this type of business… Just another phở joint in Richmond, nothing stands out… but ok to come to. One last thing, they take card. so dont’ worry about digging for money in your wallet.

I have eaten here twice even though I told myself I wasn’t going back. It’s very convenient as it’s next to my fav foot rub place. Food and service is ok. This time my food arrived within 3 mins of ordering which made me think it’s all pre made sitting in the back. That would explain a lot of the taste.

It was pack in Li Do, so we decided to find another one. That was why we were ending breakfast in this place. the taste was just so so, can’t say it is bad but definitely i’ve experienced better place. it was only tables but felt like we were waiting at least 20 minutes to get our food. The service was bad also, now i think i would like to wait more than to select randomly.

It’s getting 2 stars because the broth was tasty but the brisket was all fat. Luckily I ordered rare beef and brisket so there was some meat in it.

We passed by this place a while ago, so for dinner we decided to drop by and have some Vietnamese food. When we walked in, we received a warm welcome, the employees were very nice. Our male waiter was funny too. Their phở is comparable to here in Edmonton, so it wasn’t any special. Although, their prices are much better and it’s totally worth it. The meat was very tender, as it should be. The bun bo hue was delicious as well.

Just for the iced coffee, it’s a bit too loaded w/condensed milk; still will have to try their phở b/c it smelled good & authentic — workers there didn’t seem to speak any hint of Cantonese, just Viet. But it sure is a crazy place to park during lunch, as there’s about over a dozen or so, but also that many smaller businesses beside the restaurant. Located beside Acura. Good-sized place, bright, & better décor than your typical hole in the wall. Accepts debit/credit cards.

The food has always been good, we always stop by when in Richmond for a rare beef soup and a lemongrass chicken and rice and spring rolls… The price is excellent, quality is good! People are always friendly and the food comes out pretty quick. Yummie…

I saw Chengman eat here so I wanted to check it out. Its alright. Typical phở place. Competitive prices($ 6.95) for large Phở Dac Viet. Its just that there are so many phở places within a few blocks of each other. Its really hard to see what differentiates each from the other. Probably the only reason to come here is if you’ve been gaming at the internet café or badminton courts nearby and want to grab a quick bite to eat.

I’ve never tasted chicken like this before :\ Spring roll was way too oily.
