Langara Fishing Adventures

There is no real way to describe Langara Fishing Lodge other than to say it should be on everybody’s Bucket List! The setting is magic: humpback whales bubble feeding, bald eagles everywhere and the fishing is awesome. And if this is not enough, the Lodge and the staff are amazing! The food is 5 star. The friendliness and professionalism of every staff person from kitchen to boat guide to management also 5 star! My wife and I have been there 5 times and have always had the same quality experience! We look forward to going back! That said, I do have to highlight the fishing guides: even if you’ve never fished (as was the case with many of our group this trip) they will not rest until you catch one!
One other fact that needs to be highlighted: the Lodge has gone out of it’s way to make the entire experience inclusive for all! They have renovated their facilities to fully accommodate all types of wheelchair — I use a manual chair but my party included 2 electric wheelchair users as well! And once again the staff added greatly — they are well trained in treating everyone as equal and never showed anything but warmth and charm as we asked for a myriad of help in and out of boats, up and down ramps, etc! I don’t know what they are fed but something makes them the most warm and friendly group of professionals I have come across in any resort!
