Dollarama

I think a name change is in order for a place that puts itself out in the name to believe it is a dollar store when items in the store are priced all over the place. That being said I did get some good help here, as the staff knew exactly which isle the item I was located was in. Located right within Lansdowne, and close to Target, this place was busy the day I went in. What do I mean by busy… a line 10+ deep waiting to pay for their stuff… constitutes busy, and this line grew like a mini border lineup, for a dollar store??? Obviously this is one of the places to shop in this mall.
When I came in, I was lost to where the heck I was going to find some super glue, and I could either waste time flying up and down the long isles and still not know where the heck this was, or find someone… which I did. She really didn’t have to think… and told me to go down isle 5, after that, then the wait began to pay for it. I couldn’t find the price of the item where it was hanging, and only at checkout did I know what I was paying. Over $ 2 for a microscopic tube of Krazy Glue sounds like something I would pay anywhere else… why go to this dollar store… I come here cause I wanted to cheap out. not pay over a dollar for something?
Buyer beware is the only thing I have to say, especially when some things aren’t listed for prices. I do not know if the lineup is normal either, but I can say that this place does get busy… as you can almost buy anything here… just watch out when it gets calculated at the end. you might have bought more than you bargained for!

This dollar store is located inside Lansdowne Mall Center. This dollar store is big and well stocked. Because this dollar store is frequently visited there is a decent turn around of selection. This seems to be the only dollar store in a long time in which I can actually get candles of different colors for my personal religious use. Customer service is friendly and the prices are fair… it is a dollar store after all. The store is well organized and clean.

The nice staff doesn’t make up for the crappy stuff they keep raising prices on.

More like everything for $ 1.25+ store. Half the store I saw the price tags at $ 1.25 or up. Like any other dollar store, you can find the typical tupperware, photo frames, hair accessories, party goods, toys, socks, underwear, stationary, foods, candies, etc… But after going to Dollarama where you can find the same things but in better quality for ACTUALLY a dollar… you probably won’t find me here unless I’m in a desperate need for dollar undies? kidding.
Overall, nice staff, pretty clean and organized.
