I went there for lunch for the first time. It looks good from the outside. However the food had no taste the prices were high lunch should’ve cost $ 10 cost me almost $ 20. Not recommend. The pictures on the menu are deceiving you will probably get less than what you see.

Don’t you hate it when a meal starts off with so much promise? That sums up my experience at Cora. With a line out the door, I was looking forward to good food. As a table of two we got seated relatively quickly. We ordered an egg Benny with asparagus and their crepes with sausage. The Benny was decent, but the crepes were terrible. They were crunchy in bits, extremely difficult to cut through and just not good. All in all that second dish was a terrible choice. I did enjoy the big pile of fruit that came with the dishes though. Despite that, it wasn’t able to rescue the meal. Never again.

Cora is the place to be if you are craving good ol’ American breakfast, or Canadian breakfast in this case. I went after 1pm on a Saturday and the host seated us promptly. The place is super clean and has bright upbeat décor. What I like the most is they have an extensive breakfast menu. I ordered the eggs benedict and they let you completely customize your order. You can choose type of meat like bacon or ham, soft poach eggs or medium and have 1,2,or 3 bennies in your order. I ordered 2 bacon bennies and soft poach eggs and it came out perfect. Everything was fresh and I like the massive amount of hand cut fruits they included in my order.

Have loved Cora’s for years. Great food. Have to say the service at this location is a little under par compared to the high standards that the name carries. Staff is just not as friendly and helpful as they could be.

Lots of room, fast efficient staff. They offer a wide variety of menu items from gluten free to kids and teen menus. Clean, friendly. Highly recommend!

Came here on a Saturday morning to try the brekkie. Tip: you’ll want to write your name down on the list, because nobody really tells you that. The wait to sit down was not long. When we sat down, we sat next to a family at a table. It is a family restaurant afterall, some big groups were dining there, as well as some couples. The ambiance is family oriented, from the decoration to atmosphere. I liked the fact that the napkins have a smiling sun on them. Tres cute. Anyway we ordered OJ(it is flash frozen) coffee, mushroom brie cheese benny, and a smoked salmon benny. The food was good, SOFILLING, they gave us extra potatoes because they put the hollondaise on one of the bennys so we only waited an extra few mins for that order to come out. I thoroughly enjoyed the JUNGLEOFFRUIT that came out on the plate. Aside from the food taking a little bit to come out and having to flag down waitresses for coffee, milks and Splenda, it was a pleasant experience. Come hungry!

I ate here early morning today and I loved the place. It looks so wholesome, so family friendly — except that the crepes were stiff like rubber soles and the mango fruit smoothie wasn’t good. The fruit may be out of season. I should’ve ordered waffles or omelet and coffee instead. Maybe next time I’ll give a better review.

Came here last weekend for breakfast, it was very busy. Didn’t have to wait long to be seated, but the wait was ridiculously long to get our server to take the order and even longer for the food to arrive. It would have been nice for the server to let us know that the food was on the way. There were moments where I felt if the order was completely missed. Since it’s the first meal of the day, I was getting hangrier every minute that went by without food. I ordered the«Jo Construction» which consists of 3 eggs, 3 sausages, and 3 strips of bacon served with roasted potatoes for $ 12.45. The food was decent, probably a 3.5 out of 5. But it’s probably something you can get at any other breakfast place sans the wait. So unfortunately, due to the lengthy waits I have to give it 2 stars

By far the best place to get breakfast in Richmond. I’ve been here quite a few times and every time the service has been fast, the food has tasted amazing. It can however, be quite busy which can leave you waiting some time just to get a table but, all in all this place is totally worth the wait.

Went here for bunch only to have to wait 45 min for food to arrive. Elderly server was very unhelpful and rude when we inquired about why our meals took so long while other tables who arrived after us were already half way into their meals. Didn’t get any apologies for long wait. Made me late for my next appointment. I won’t be coming back. Update: Still haven’t been back. :)

I was surprised but I actually did enjoy this place. My Grandson and I were on a guys vacation and we stopped here to get lunch. In appearance and judging by the crowd — I would say it is more of a «woman’s restaurant» but both of us had a great time. I had the 1990’s harvest which had a lot of fruit and was tasty. A large cinnamon-raisin brioche dipped in French toast batter, with an egg and bacon on one side and a mountain of fresh fruit on the other. Although it says it — I missed the cinnamon-raisin brioche(was thinking it was french toast — bread) and was thinking it was French toast since that was the category it was in — but still it was good. My grandson who is the adventurers one — and had the Breakfast poutine(this was one of three poutines he had on our trip) — Roasted potatoes, cheese curds, frankfurters, bacon, caramelized onions and red peppers, topped with an egg and delicious hollandaise sauce. He loved it. Service was great and I would go back — if in the area.

I arrived at Cora’s at about 9:30am on a Saturday. It was busy but I was able to get a table right away. It got even busier while we had breakfast and,\ by the time I was paying the bill, there was a line of people waiting for a table. I had the 1990’s Harvest, a cinnamon-raisin brioche French toast with an egg, bacon, and fruit. It seemed like a semi-healthy choice.(I later learned how very wrong I was ) The serving of fruit was generous and very fresh and the dish was nicely plated. My friend ordered a peach iced tea and I was disappointed to see that it was served as a single-serve bottle with a glass to pour it into. Overall, breakfast was tasty but a little overpriced. Two breakfast entrees and two drinks came out to $ 36 including tax and tip. If you do decide to try Cora’s on a weekend, get there early to avoid the rush.

My friend suggested this place on the way to the city. They cater to gluten allergies! The food was fresh, and please try the banana bread french toast! Holy smokes that is a good time. Everything hit the spot, but for a breakfast place, I would have liked alternative milk options for coffees etc. Our server was very knowledgable about the menu and that was appreciated. Although be prepared to wait in line to be seated, we didn’t wait that long but I imagine for large parties you would.

I have been to Cora for breakfast a few times and I would be going again. I like their fruity hearty breakfast and I like their Benedict especially. You may choose different fillings like mushrooms, ham, salmon. I myself like it with ham. The portion is pretty big. Most likely you will have some left over to take home yourself. Knowing this, bring a container next time I eat at Cora. Be friends with our environment. :)

3.5 stars. I’m pretty conflicted about this place. I don’t find anything particular fantastic however I can appreciate the heaps of fruit that comes with most dishes. Came here on a weekday around 10am and the place was empty. I usually come on the weekends and it’s always packed! Ordered the 1990s harvest. Not bad considering it comes with tons of fruit, bacon and an egg on top of cinnamon brioche. Service is ok here. Sometimes you have to flag them down for drink refills. Presentation is nice but there’s something about this place that just doesn’t cut it for me. Over priced for what you get.

I had the crêpe with french toast bits and assorted fruits. The location was easy to find with lots of parking. The service was friendly. I just didn’t like the dish as much as I though I would. The fruit was not as fresh as I hopes and crêpe was way too chewy. May be it is supposed to be that way but I don’t remeber being like that in Paris.

Great for fruits and their plate presentation, they must spend hours cutting it up into all their different shapes. Unfortunately, you really pay for their fruit cutting efforts. Who wants to pay $ 13 for a waffle? Or $ 12 for bacon and eggs? Even if they give you a cute fruit side dish, it is still pricey. The hash browns have no crunch, they need to drain those shredded potatoes and turn up the heat on their grills.

We put our name in at 11:55am and was seated at 12:40pm. And that’s only because my daughter actually asked if there was a table available yet. Atrocious management of the way people were seated. Jack wong obviously needed some seating management skills. I won’t come back for that alone. The food portions are fair and good. The quality is fresh. And the presentation was attractive. And this is a very unique menu. Our server was very friendly and did check to see if everything was ok. The person that seated us was curt, rude and could care less. The wait for the food was a bit long. Perhaps we would come back on a less busy day.

The day has come. After my first introduction to Cora’s in Toronto 2 years ago, I was excited to see a Cora’s open up in Richmond. With a yellow painted walls, the place exuberates a cozy and cheerful environment. Even the logo is a happy smiley sunshine. Breakfast and lunch what they serve, with twists to simple traditional dishes. One of their specialties is their crepes, sweet or savoury, and many of their dishes also come with a small side of fresh fruit. Prices are a bit on the high side, with most plates costing more than $ 10. A fresh fruit waffle for $ 12.75? I ended up getting a eggs benedict with brie and mushroom. This came with a side of fruit as well as potato wedges. The benedict wasn’t too bad, the English muffin was fresh and there was a good amount of the brie and mushroom. The hollandaise could have a bit more flavour. I know I shouldn’t expect much from this place, but perhaps I’ve been spoiled by all the other independent brunch establishments in the city. Yes, it’s a franchise, which also holds limitations in terms of menu changes and additions. Opened for a bit more than 2 weeks, this place is still adapting to its operations. The owner of the place was very nice, he came to speak to us when we wanted to order a side of the crepes, which wasn’t truly possible because of their system. It’s a good addition to the area, for filling in the breakfast/brunch niche.
