I only buy nail polish from the TBBS store at Bay and Dundas St so I was so excited to learn they had a location in Richmond Hill because it is a lot more accessible to me than the Dundas location.
I went in set on trying some of the new Essie Fall 2011 colours and the lady there was very helpful. She let me try the different colours against my skin tone and also showed me other options from other brands. I also ended up getting the Seche vite top coat because it was on sale for $ 5.99 (they usually sell it for $ 7.99).
Service-​wise I think it depends on who you talk to, but I was surprised by the level of enthusiasm the lady I talked to had since at the Dundas location the sales associates tend to ignore the customers.

The best place to buy nail polish in the GTA, really, with the complete collection of Essie polish for $ 6.95 and OPI and China Glaze for $ 8.99.
They also have an array of salon brands like Bumble and Bumble (though they don’t have surf spray or any of the typical HG products), Phyto and Kevin Murphy. Also, notably competitive pricing for their at skincare products compared to Sally beauty supply, however the customer service and product knowledge level isn’t up to par here, much like the Dundas St. location.
