This place beats Yummy Market hands down! I have visited a number of European Delis in Ottawa and while in Toronto recently I decided to visit this place that I had seen over the years while driving by. There was no problem parking here and once inside I shrieked with delight — all the good European stuff I remember from the old country minus the crowds! She has a good selection of pre-made stuff if you want the take home eats, as well as a good sized deli counter. There are lots of products in the shop as well as all the requisite smoked fish, pickles(best I’ve had in years!!) and sauerkraut, as well as pastries and more. I can’t wait to get back to this store and stock up on yummies, and next time I will be in Toronto I will go there again to fill a cooler of stuff to bring back home to Ottawa with me!

I was very disappointed about this store once again on the New Years Eve. Employee/supervisors are rude, and the lady in charge taught an employee to do the same, speaking to her in other language than English right in front of me. The precooked food is terrible, neither myself nor my guests could eat it. I am not pleased that in our community such a store that make no use for myself anymore, exists. I would not recommend it to any of my friends. Some of them have already had a taste of it’s food. I have fortunately found two other stores, close, with same food. Both stores are on Yonge, one is south of Elgin Mills, next to Winners and the other is south of McKenzie, next to Laser Quest.

Stefanie’s Village may not be Yummy Market but if you are in the Richmond Hill area and looking for some Russian grocery, this is the place to go! The selections are plentiful and everything looks organized and clean. Parking lot never really get busy as there are not much at this strip mall.

This is a large Russian deli with a large variety of meat, prepared food and cheese as well as local Russian foods. I find the fruits and vegetables pathetic looking and the staff rude but this is the only place close to home that has some of the staples that I like so I will go there occasionally.
