worst experience ever!
Servers were great but management has definitely changed, the large turnover of staff has left this place in shambles. Used to come every wing night with my friend. Christina and Stephanie were efficient and knew product knowledge. Since they’ve left the new server (blonde) is totally out to lunch.
London Pub is going no where fast ! such a shame

Terrible experience. … we sit ourselves at a table and wait patiently for the waitress. She makes her way to our table after 15 minutes of waiting. We as k for drinks and she says she must check if they have any in stock. She returns to our table 5 minutes later to tell us that they are understaffed and no longer serving tables!
We were asked to leave! I spoke to the security as well who informed me that they were so full they were changing last call to 1am in hopes of getting people to go home. Does a pub really not expect to be busy on a Friday night? ?
Pathetic pub.

I came here with a bunch of my friends and had a very disappointing experience. My friend had reserved a specific table and they neglected to put the reservation in the book, and ended seating a table of 8 in a small booth that might comfortably sit 6 if we were all tiny people. That was the beginning of a very frustrating evening.
It seemed as though the place was completely understaffed and it took forever to get our menus, get orders in and receive food and drink. Food and drink was all delivered sporadically. Some people at our table finished their dinners before others even got their’s. At the end of the night, I ended up coaching our server (who was on his first day… on a SATURDAY) on how to split our bill. We did ask for split bills at the beginning but he had stopped punching it in as separate orders at one point. We did end up being moved to a more comfortable table as the place got less busy, which likely added to the confusion.
At the end, we got our bills but some of us hadn’t noticed that the gratuity had been added and they added gratuity on top. They wanted to take that off (they were okay with 15%, but not a 30% tip, understandably) and it took nearly two hours to get the charges reversed on the cards. TWO HOURS. At the end of the night, we were incredibly pissed off and the staff were really shaken. They really did try to make us happy, but the fact was that the place was understaffed and incredibly disorganized. Why was a new guy taking a table of 8 on a Saturday night? Talk from regulars was that the place had received a big turnaround of staff recently. Not a good sign.
The food and drinks themselves were quite good, but they really need to get their act together at the front of the house.

Came here with my boyfriend for New Years Eve without much planning, and it was an overall positive experience! When we came in, we were greeted by a friendly bouncer who let us know that the cover was $ 20 each (expected for NYE). The entry fee came with a complimentary glass of champagne, and some party gear (party hats, sunglasses). Which we did not receive, even after we asked.
The DJ was phenomenal… Probably the best I’ve ever heard in my life, so I took his business card so I wouldn’t forget his name (it’s DJ D~Lo btw). The tables around us were friendly, and I even ended up dancing with the people sitting around us. Overall, it was a great night with a real friendly atmosphere.

This place was bad. It was so bad that I decided to write my first Unilocal review ever.
Service was bad from the first minute. Beer glasses weren’t washed properly with water left inside. Service was VERY slow, though the place was empty. Burgers and chicken wings were average to say the least. Finally, it was cold inside. Should have checked the ratings before going…

First time here and on New Years eve. Service isn’t great but not sure if it’s because it is NYE. Servers are a bit ditsy. They didn’t know what a Glenfiddich was.

Service was slow. THe reservation for twenty people was made in advance and there was at least one other party on. Not enough waitresses and only 1 bartender. My husband’s french fries were limp. The food was ok but we will not come again because of the service. Not all the food on the menu was available.

I have gone back after my last review, new management has brought up the service level. Here I am giving them a better grade. Friendly caring service is the key to customer satisfaction. Thanks

Completely disappointing. It’s very rare that I post a negative review.
Thought I’d try a new place, their website says that today’s special (Thursday) is $ 4.64 Corona’s & ½ off Oysters. Figured it was worth a shot, especially at that price. When getting there (having my heart set on some oysters) they said the deal doesn’t start until June… Today is June 4^th, and that they wouldn’t honor the deal posted, «sorry». After eating the poorly shucked oysters (I shouldn’t have expected perfect oysters unless I went to an oyster bar), I had waited quite a while to checkout, finally I approached a near by staff member that was sitting and socializing with other patrons.
I want to let you know it was not so much the price difference that bothered me, as it was the principal of the matter and they way I was treated. Makes me sad.

Got one star b/​c they do have a pretty sweet selection of Scotch, Single Malts and Whisky’s. Haha!
Sorry, but had to put it up at the top: Vitaly P, you the owner, employee or dating someone there or just really really like shitty joints or get paid to do this or were… you get the point… hahaha 5 star rating!
So I’ve been to this place on 4 different occasions before arriving at this rating. Viewpoints and observations: Lets start with the good stuff:
1) Booze: I’m a scotch /​single malt guy and they have an alright selection of good stuff and its priced decently for the vintages which they serve.
Draft: Their draft selection is decent. Although they did not have Guiness on two of the 4 occasions I was there
2) Food: Frozen, bulk bought straight garbage I ate while I was in undergrad. But in their defense, I’ve only been there around 9pm, so I’ll give them a benefit of their late night staff’s abilities /​not having tried their menu (which I won’t be cause I’m probably not going back lmao)
3) Service: JUST TUCKING FERRIBLE! Sorry Unilocal for swearing on here, but really, I was quite flabbergasted about what word to use.
Takes AGES to get your drink /​food as all the employees are huddled around chilling out without giving a fcuk about the clients. I was at the bar, finished my late night sub par chicken finger service and had to SWITCH CHAIRS because the bartender would not take the plate away from in front of me… & she still didn’t clear it HAHAHAHAHA… Did ask me if I wanted another drink tho lol…
And they may be racist too deep down lol…
They wouldn’t put on the Raptors PLAYOFF GAME for some 2 random countries playing hockey. When I asked the bartender he said well hockey is more Canadian than basketball lmfao… Finally a fellow barmate started expressing his displeasure towards that attitude and they finally put it on.
Similar thing happened recently, wanted to watch a semi-​final bball matchup, but they wanted to show slovenia vs denmark and bartender (it was the same one lol) didn’t want too, but finally b/​c there was pretty much no one there, they put it on
Agree with the other reviews, tons of parking, a darkly lit joint that won’t play the game sound and did I already say how atrocious their service was? Good looking servers tho…
Well enough for the hate train, I just won’t be back, but hopefully we leave it only to people like Vitaly to support such terrible joints…

Greatest bar on the planet of the earth and the Milky Way galaxy. The staff are like erotic beer serving mammals.

Have just moved to the area. 3^rd week straight coming for Tuesday wing night. Seems the beer has changed from Coors to Bud and I can only order a pound of wings at a time as I drink. Have gotten 2 pounds and a drink every other week. 3^rd different bartender as well. Would like some consistency. Wings are great though. Beer is on the warm side. Décor is dated, seats are ripped and TVs while everywhere are small.

London Pub is the best bar you can go to on Richmond Hill’s Yonge street simply because it is not the Falcon and Firkin.
The food is good and the drinks are reasonably priced. The nightly specials offer a benefit to the customer, especially if you take advantage of wing night Tuesdays.
This is a good bar in an otherwise scarce market.

Worst food ever… waiter was rude when we told him the food sucked. The corn beef was hard with soggy pickles and pizza tasted like frozen box pizza.

Took my dad here for his birthday lunch, what a disaster. I think Unilocal should allow users to enter minus marks because this place deserved it.
Saturday afternoon quite a few family’s having lunch and customers at the bar having drinks and apps and management think its appropriate to have one waitress serving, taking orders and running the bar. This should have been the first sign that the food would be bad with corners being cut on service.
The actual pub was cold inside tempted to keep my jacket on. Ordered Spring Rolls and Calamari to start along with a French Onion Soup for Dad.
Calamari — Almost bounced off the plated way overcooked
Spring Rolls — Bit into one and noticed that the outside was cooked and hot but the middle was still cold.
Soup — Pretty average
Sent the Spring rolls back and then was told the chef was making a fresh batch took 15 mins to get the replacements.
Ordered chicken Wings others at the table ordered fish and chips. Wings were ok, Fish and Chips looked like it came out the box in the freezer.
$ 140 later, overall terrible service but not the fault of the server but management not putting enough people on and also unforgivable to send out partially cooked pork spring rolls. I should have gone to the Keg
Honestly this is a disgrace to English pub cuisine please change your name and theme because this is definitely not British but a cheap imitation.

Write off: Maybe the worst pub food ever eaten. Frozen fish was still cold in centre and crust was think and uncooked. Totally disgusting experience. To add insult to injury the beer selection was lame.

I came here with a few friends for the Wednesday burger and we were satisfied with the burger but we order two pitchers of Canadians and they were SUPER FLAT, we then order Canadian bottles and again they were like expired… The nachos we order had expired jalapeños, not sure if they just didn’t care since it was late night but something is going on.
I am a regular so I’m pretty surprise, the service was kind of bad too.,

My friend and I went there on a Saturday night after dinner around the 10:45PM to 11PM time frame and when we got there, we sat ourselves down, just like I’ve done in the past which isn’t a problem.
However we had to wait 20 minutes for a waitress to ask whether or not we have been taken care off to which we told her no. Then it took another 10 minutes for a different waitress to come and take our order, which eventually took 15 minutes and I could see that our waitress was talking among the other waitresses and wasn’t even doing her job.
Yes its a critical review as I’ve been to many pubs in my life and despite a busy night, I have received much better service before.

On a Wednesday night, London Pub Company is still packed!
They must be doing something right?
Happy Hour Specials with ½ price appetizer on Weekdays?
Daily Specials Monday to Thu from 5 pm to 12 am, $ 2.99 burger? $ 13 a pitcher?
Great place to just meet up for a drink and chill.
Free Wifi? Heated Patio?
Service is a little lukewarm and slow but still acceptable.
