This place will blow your mind. Their ribs and choices of home made sauce will be sure to make you come back. Their Poutine is excellent. A very homey atmosphere! I have been there three times. The only drawback is you need to go earlier in the mid afternoon as around super or just after they could very well be out of the ribs. Friendly serving staff and the owner makes all of this own sauces and rubs. The price you pay gets you more than you bargained for. Highly recommended!

Just happened to drive by this place hungry and decided to stop in for a bite — what a great idea! The place is sort of a bare bones southern BBQ joint — vinyl tablecloths(easy to clean up all that delicious sauce), sturdy benches and chairs(to support your weight after you eat here), and a good selection of alcoholic beverages(to help wash down all that delicious BBQ). It was our first time here, so we ordered the Mixed Meat Plate. It came with good sized portions of beef brisket, pulled pork and a chicken leg, with a side of slaw, baked beans and cornbread. The chicken leg was terrific — smoky, tender, and full of flavor. The pulled pork was excellent — not stringy, but tender, full of flavor and terrific. But for me the star of the meal was the brisket — tender slow cooked beef, not stringy, but juicy and so flavourful I could have eaten this until I burst. There is some choice in sauces, ranging from sweet to fire breathing, and you can mix and match to your stomach’s content. The sides are excellent, too, in case you are wondering. The slaw is home made, crunchy with just the right amount of tang to it. The cornbread muffin is excellent, light, not dry, with the right amount of crumble. And the baked beans are awesome, not too sweet so you can taste the beans and with plenty of pork mixed in to scare your cardiologist. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for some real quality BBQ meat — man it is good!
