Santé Relaxe

Recently, I treated myself to a nice facial at Santé Relaxe. My 75 minutes Clayton Shagal facial cost me $ 90, which is a price a bit lower compared to that of the other spas I considered (the others being Izba Spa and Infinima). It included cleansing and exfoliating, a rather long massage of the face, neck, arms and hands and ended with a facial mask. I cannot think of anything bad to say about the treatment itself: it was very relaxing and my esthetician was friendly and good at what she was doing. It was my first facial so I’m afraid I can’t compare it to what other establishments offer.
Some little things irked me while I was at the spa. First, it is located on a busy street so I could hear the sound of car engines and the occasional loud radio during my facial. Another minor thing (emphasis on minor) was that the ambient music that was playing in the room sounded like one of those «Solitudes» CDs you find at drug stores. Basically, it sounded a little cheesy. This place was fine, but nothing remarkable, I’m afraid. I think next time, I’ll give the fancier places a try, especially since there’s not a major price difference.
