Mr Water Heater

Recently had a water heater installed by these guys. Dan was friendly and efficient. He even cleaned up after. They were even offering $ 50 off which I saw on their site.

Mr. Water Heater of Port Moody, B.C. is a dishonest company. Our hot water tank that they installed 3 years ago failed. They responded quickly enough but we were told that, aside from the labour charges, we would be charged for the pro-​rated value of the tank. I called the manufacturer to find out what type of warranty they have on the tank and they said that it was a full warranty for 6 years. I confronted Mr. Water Heater with this information and they said that it was their store policy to pro-​rate the value, based on the age of the tank. After some discussion, they offered to refund $ 100, but not the full amount of the pro-​rated charges that were originally applied.
I would definitely not recommend this company.
Note that there are other companies in North America with a similar name.
(e.g. Mr. Waterheater). They are not associated with the outlet in Port Moody, B.C.
