Crowns & Jewels

I admit, a friend of mine works here which is why I finally popped in. For years (having grown up in the neighbourhood) I was put off by the big hats and the knight in shining armour (no joke) that once stood at the door.
When I got inside though it was a different story. Beautiful jewelry (from all price points), some cute clothing and handbags. Sometimes it can be a shocker to travel into Vancouver’s ‘burbs and stumble upon some gems like this (pun intended!).
I’ve bought a few birthday pressies there since my first visit and have had a couple of pieces of jewelry given to me, which I wear often.
I totally recommend a visit to the store and to Newport Village where the store is located — years ago, it has a Whistler Village vibe to it with a great produce store and bakery, home décor stores, doggie shops, etc.
