Butter Studios Photography and Photobooths

We had the pleasure of working with Chris and Gina for our wedding and we were absolutely blown away with their expertise. They were with us every step of the way, and made a great day even better.

They are right. Your wedding day goes by in a flash: so many details go fuzzy amidst the sensory overload– all of your DIY handiwork and months of planning finished, in what feels like the shortest day of my life.
Thank goodness for Chris and his assistant for the day, Alex, who captured the moments of our wedding day that my eyes could not.
They were the best. Showing up ahead of time, quickly staging flowers and arranging our bridal party and family. Finding the right moment to pull us away to capture the best light of the day. Effortlessly moving through all of our guests at a photo booth receiving line– best idea ever, by the way!
No, seriously, I can’t think of one thing that I would want them to do differently, except for find a magical time machine that would let us do it all over again!
From our engagement shoot the month after Peter popped the question where Gina and Chris helped us stage an outdoor living room at the waters edge, to staging and preserving every little detail of our wedding day, they captured our memories like the pros that they are.
I could not be happier with our pictures.

We chose Butter Studios after many hours of online research and we couldn’t have made a better choice! They were organized, professional and super friendly and made it easy for us to feel comfortable taking our photos on the big day. It was the most stressful decision for us, as photos are all you really have after the wedding besides actual memories (and each other of course!) You can tell Chris and Gina take real pride in their work and it shows in their beautiful photos! We also used their photo booth and slo-​mo booths and they were both so great! Our guests loved the photo booths and most of them had never done the slo-​mo booth before so they all really enjoyed that. Overall it was a fabulous and stress-​free experience and I would recommend them to anyone planning their wedding in a heartbeat!

Gina and Chris are seriously AWESOME. I had a photo shoot with Gina and her incredible hair and make up artist Margaret Lai and I couldn’t be happier with their work. Chris and Gina do such an incredible job and they are such a fun couple. So if you book them, be prepared for a super fun session and enjoy every minute of your session. Gina and her team were our wedding photographer and we couldn’t be happier with our photos and their service. They are a very professional, and caring team. We got our photos ontime and enjoyed them with friends and family just couple of months after our wedding. Definitely recommend them to anyone who’s looking for a wedding or event photographer.

Professional, talented and fun– Butter Studios is a pleasure to have at an event. I’ve had many clients/​friends use their services and have had nothing but good things to say. Their photo booths are always the talk of the party! I especially like that you can customize the photos with the use of event-​specific props and they can put a custom logo on the bottom of the photos so the guests can use it as a nice memento of the fun they had at your wedding/​christmas party or whatever. LOVE them!
