Basil’s Pizzaria

The chicken Gyros here are really really good! I come with my girlfriend and we get 2 Gyros for UNDER $ 10! Amazing value, good food, quick service. Gotta love it.

Basil’s is super yummy, great food — we’re never disappointed! We always get the chicken souvlaki dinner, occasional lasagnas too.
The chicken is always great as are the rice, potatoes, pita, salads — everything!
The only complaint — they don’t deliver before 6 and we eat earlier sometimes.

Best Greek food in the Tri-​cities. We’ve been going here for over 6-​years and have no reason to go elsewhere. Fresh, tasty food at a reasonable price. Try their toasted lamb or chicken souvlaki platter. Really good pizza also. Basil’s is a Port Moody institution!

Port Moody, such a pretty location with mountain views (as seen from the VRBO guest suite where the relatives are staying). This area has a real dearth of hospitality services. Hey a strip mall. Ooh, Subway and 7Eleven… Pardon my sarcasm but not much has changed here in a year.
Thank goodness for Basil’s Pizzaria (and Greek food). Roasted chicken served with salad, rice and potato? «I’ll take that to go, and we better make it two of those». Note; this is a take out only location.
This turns out to be a good plan as the meal was tasty and enough for three with the add-​on of extra potatoes.
The counter server was pleasant and helpful and the owner was nice enough to tell me about his secret recipe, although he was reluctant to do so until I explained «it’s allergies».
If one of you won’t eat chicken, (looser) there is a shwarma place in the same mall, but the food there is just so-​so and that owner has all the personality of a wet kitchen mop.
