Perogies are a great meal when you don’t have much time to cook. Yes, home-​made are the ultimate but in these busy times sometimes we have to cut corners.
The perogies in the freezer cases here are the next best thing to having your Ukranian Baba cook for you. There are many varieties and you can cook them straight from the freezer. Boil them or fry them (add a bit of bacon, onion, butter and sour cream if you wish) and have an inexpensive, delicious dinner in less time than it takes to order a pizza!
The garlic sausage and kielbasa’s here are amazing. Great for entertaining. The beef or pork cabbage rolls are very nicely seasoned, substantial and can be bought in individual portions. I find one is enough for a lunch. There are bacon, beef and veggie borscht in the fridges as well.
