Papa Dave’s Pizza

Decent pizza at a good price. Be warned the tomato sauce contains a little bit of spiciness. Will probably order from here again.

We always order pizza from here when we want GOOD pizza.
We ordered from fresh slice one time, are one piece, threw the pizza away, then ordered Papa Dave’s.
Tons of toppings, cheese layered deep, great crust, we have NEVER had a less than stellar pizza from here.
The Italian sausage is actually Italian sausage, not crappy frozen sausage like every other place.
Best pizza we’ve had anywhere.

Just moved into the area and thought we’d try the local take-​out pizza joint although it’s unusually in the midst of an industrial area in PoCo. We ordered the House Special and the Hawaiian and they were both very good, although I preferred the Hawaiian. The crust was not too thick (which I like) and they didn’t cheap out on the toppings. The owner was very friendly and gave us some great info on the neighborhood. Can’t wait to try their other specialities like butter chicken.

I started going when I saw the bus drivers stop and get a pizza on their way home to the depot. They obviously know where the good places are.
Their Butter Chicken is to die for. I have had butter chicken in Vancouver at some of the uptown places like Vij’s and the Indian Bistro and Raga’s…Papa Dave’s is just as good if not better… you don’t have to dress up or travel to Vancouver. LO LOL
Simi is the friendliest counter person I have ever met. Always a smile and a helpful suggestion.
Poco’s secret find

Papa Dave’s Pizza Port Coquitlam doesn’t look like much from the outside. I’ve passed by it countless times driving on Kingsway to even bat an eye. But I can say I am pleasantly surprised. We ordered pizza with Just Eat food delivery service. Once our order was confirmed online. We soon received a phone call from the pizza restaurant confirming our order, our request for extra hot sauce, and also delivery time. Delivery time was quicker than the stated 45 mins and the driver was friendly.
Papa Dave’s Pizza crust is neither too thick or too thin. It was not soggy or too doughy. We ordered a classic Hawaiian (Aloha Combo) made with ham, pineapple & Papa Dave’s three cheese blend. One large pizza 14″ is 16.77 (or two large is 26.77). We also ordered 10 piece honey garlic wings for 7.99. The wings were juicy and quite plumped. I liked how it wasn’t dry or too skinny.
I’d likely order from them again.

Doesn’t look like much on the outside… Well, or the inside for that matter… Pretty good pizza and consistently good too. Been here a dozen or so times as it’s close by.
