Sherkston Shores Beach Resort and Campground

One of our family favorite places to do during the summer!
We went over the weekend, just over night, all the time we needed. We went to the quarry, although we got our car stuck in the sand we had fun. The water park was the kids favorite filled with a few water slides and pools, and a kids area.
Also we tried archery, my husband’s favorite.
We tented it which wasn’t bad during the day, perfect spot for fire works at 10pm. After the fireworks was when it went down hill. The people around us were loud and rude yelling the N word all night and screaming «if you don’t shut up I’ll cut you». Not a great place for young kids. If and when we return we will have to stay in the rustic cabins. Please amp up the security!
Other notes Boston pizza was great for dinner, golf carts were sold right out get there early!, great convenient store if you forget something, they had a small carnival at night we did not attend, the beaches were packed so we went to the quarry. Everyone’s super nice.

I stayed here last September (2013)from the 6^th to the 9^th. I had the most relaxing time ever!
My boyfriend and I stayed in a vacation home right on the beach (32 wyledwood). The home was spacious and super comfortable and clean ! We even had a fireplace !! We were looking for somewhere to relax after the busy summer season (we are locals and work in Niagara Falls) and Sherkston definitely helped us accomplish that The pool was still open during the weekend which was awesome, one of the other reasons why I had booked here. The staff was really nice and accommodating. The beach was clean and really beautiful to look at .We have already booked our trip for this September again, this time we are staying for a week ! We have decided to rent a deluxe vacation home this time, It’s a step up from the last one we reserved. I am really looking forward to staying here again, and have told many many friends and family members about Sherkston, I know there is mixed reviews on the place, but I think it’s the perfect little get away. If you plan on going during the summer months, obviously it’s going to be busier, and this is why we chose to come in Sept. It’s more calm and everyone is so friendly and down to earth, I am even thinking about planning my wedding here for next year. I highly recommend this place !!
