Food was ordinary. We come from Montréal where Asian food is exceptional. Their food was fresh, prices reasonable but when I go out to eat, it has to be better than what I can make at home. This place did not make the grade. I think Ptbo folk are far less fussy than we are. Sorry guys. Will not be returning.

This place is great! It’s little and is only take out delivery but don’t let that deter you! We ordered fried rice, veggies, egg Foo Yong, and the potato onion curry. Everything was cooked fresh while we waited and was delicious. This is our first time to Peterborough and we were often late to get dinner, we were kindly welcomed in at 3 minutes to close (8:57pm) and were offered menus and some history of the place while we waited.
I’d eat here again, actually I’m on my way for dinner now! :)

The best takeout chinese food you can get. Really friendly people, fresh tasting food. Only downside is that you’re often waiting 40 to 60 minutes at peak times and they close from 2 to 4, but once you know to expect that, its worth it.

«Don’t Wok, RUN to WEE WOK! «
Our first visit to Wee Wok Express was well worth the trip and money spent. Very friendly staff on the phone during placing our order and while picking up our order. We asked for our order to be ready for a certain time and it was ready the second we walked in to pick it up. All the food was fresh and delicious. Each dish had a taste of their own. The menu is available online for easy ordering and viewing with current pricing. Lots to choose from and we look forward to trying more items from the menu in the future. Give them a try and I am sure you won’t be disappointed! UPDATE. Since creating this review we have ordered on other occasions and have loved it so Much! Thank you Wee Wok Express for tasty food.

We recently had take-​out from Wee Wok Express. It’s located in an old house on George St. that formerly housed a Chinese take-​out establishment. This new business is family run and they have remodelled the location giving it a fresh, bright look. The owners are very friendly!
There is the usual selection of Chinese menu items along with Thai dishes. We were in a hurry so selected a dinner for four. We were pleasantly surprised with the dishes. Everything tasted freshly prepared with lots of fresh vegetables and sauces. It wasn’t heavily loaded with fillers like excessive rice, noodles, cabbage, and bean sprouts. The meats were all well-​prepared. There was plenty of food for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. It reminded me of what good Chinese food tasted like when I was a kid as opposed to many places that seem to simply order off the Asian wholesale freezer list.
They have take-​out and delivery and give a 10% discount for take-​away when paying with cash. We will happily try them again.
