Went with 2 friends last Friday night and was craving a good steak. Ordered their $ 28 sirloin steak and asked it rare. Started cutting it and could tell it was well done. A manager was stopping at the tables and when she stopped at ours, asked how everything was and I told her my steak was overcooked. She seemed surprised when I said I wanted another one. Duh! She left with my plate, and came back with my baked potatoe and corn«so I can munch while your friends are eating». How kind. Finally came back with a SMALL/PAPER THIN steak, half was fat, and she did not ask, but told me to cut it in front of her to ensure it was rare. Surprisingly, thin as it was, was cooked rare. They obviously passed me a much smaller steak to make up for the waste of the other one. So here I was eating my tiny $ 28 steak in an empty plate with my 2 friends watching me eat because they were done eating. What a memorable Friday night. I should have had my meal waived and the manager was so rude, she should be fired. I’m never eating a steak at a Montana’s ever again.
