A family friend recommended Concierge Home Cleaning a few months back and said she had a great experience. They cleaned her home while she was at work and they did everything she asked without a hitch.
Each cleaning team is different depending on which part of Ottawa you live in. The cleaning crew my friend had would be different than the one I would have.
I called the office in my area and spoke with a woman who was kind and new my neighbourhood very well. She gave me a quote for 1 ½ bath and said it would take approx. 3 hours. At that moment I paused and thought I can do that in less than 2 hours. I didn’t want to argue with the expert, as I’ve never hired a cleaning service before, but then I asked my friend who referred me what she was charged and her team cleaned the entire main floor of her house in 3 hours, including her windows.
Needless to say, I cancelled my appointment and cleaned everything on my own. It did take longer than 2 hours, but I’m also not a professional. At least I can rest well knowing I saved money and everything’s cleaned to my expectations.
