Just got back from a two night stay at the watermark. Front desk attendant was friendly and helpful with knowledge of the area, and answers to any questions we had pertaining to more than just the resort. Room was beautiful, with an over the top kitchen and a breath taking view of the lake. Heavenly bed, and top quality linens/towels. Bar was well stocked, with a great bar tender who knew their stuff, and the breakfast menu was to die for.

I’m leaving 4 stars for this hotel as it was clean, affordable, with easy parking and nice staff. However — I feel obligated to call out Osoyoos as a generally horrible destination, as I only wish Unilocalers before me had. This place is the pits. It should be on nobody’s destination list. If you live somewhere in the vast Canadian/Washington wilderness and look at Osoyoos online and say«Hey — looks like a kinda cute little vacation town I’d like to hit up» — THINKAGAIN. It’s a depressing little one-horse town with, apparently, a somewhat talented marketing person in its midst. There is no fun to be had here. Just saying.

Nice clean and spacious rooms, perfect location, beautiful resort and great service. Happy to be here in December! When it’s quiet and peaceful.

We stayed at the Watermark Beach Resort for my Birthday weekend in April. The property was beautiful, the front desk staff where helpful. However, their housekeeping staff where a nightmare. With the do not disturb sign on the door, housekeeping actually knocked and entered the suite. Shocked? Me too seeing as I was caught in an embarrassing private situation with my partner — diving for towels as we got out of the tub. I proceeded to the front desk, reported the staff member. They comped me a free night and gave a bottle of wine. The only question that I really have is. .. the«do not disturb» sign means that housekeeping is not to enter the room. It also means that there is «no work to do in that space at that time». So why would they enter the room? This raises concerns for me about leaving valuables. .. or even leaving anything unattended. If I hadn’t had that experience. .. I would have stayed there again. However, I was given no direct indication as to why the woman I identified would enter the room or the repercussions for that fiduciary breach. I think an explaination would have gone further than a bottle of wine.

We enjoyed the resort. Front Desk check in with extra attention to detail to our family reunion. The house keeping staff are excellent. The quality is 5 star. Located on the lake which is easy access and grassed with trees for shade when you want to rest from swimming. Sandy beach with dock for swimming from. Full kitchen. A pool that is ideal for kids or adults.

A beautiful hotel at the«downtown» of Osoyoos. Very clean and the view is magnificent. We are were in late April, and were lucky the weather was great! The outdoor pool and outdoor hot tub that opened late(10pm) with a slide was great for enjoying a dip after a day of wine tasting and dinner. The facilities are new and clean. Room was very spacious and the kitchen was a full kitchen. They also had two large communal barbecues by the pool deck. We conveniently bought our dinner and breakfast just next to the hotel(easy 5 minute walk or 1 minute drive) and that went perfectly with the wines we bought in the day!!!(They didn’t have any wine glasses in the room which was surprising, but we asked for them and they brought some up for us)!

This is a very nice resort. The staff is very helpful; free Internet; underground parking garage is included as part of your stay. There is a wine bar downstairs with excellent view. Main St is walking distance with coffee shops and other stores. Far enough from highway 97 so no road noise at all. Very quiet at night. The bed is totally comfortable. I would venture to say it is better than the bed at the Westin where we usually stay while traveling. The room has laundry — that’s something I did not expect. A private washer and dryer tucked in a closet near the kitchenette. Pretty cool. Nice granite counter tops and stainless steel full size fridge. Full set of silver wear; including set of cooking knifes. Dish set and wine glasses all in their proper places throughout the kitchen cabinets. Again, didn’t expect any of that and it came very handy. Great sofa set with love set. 2 Toshiba LCDs — one in bedroom and the other in the living room. Great private balcony with wicker furniture set — a table and 4 chairs with great view of the lake. In summary, Will be back!

Spot prawn sushi tempura was great, Calamari with lentil salad, Cornish hen with Ginger peach glaze we are great choices and nicely prepared. Cooked to perfection. I pull my hat. This is a cute little space with nice patio. The food was amazing and the best we had in Osoyyos directly.

On our way back from Vancouver we decided to go via highway 3 and stop in this area to visit some of the wineries we here so much about. We got a great rate on this hotel, and where pleasantly surprised on how nice it was. The room was very nice and with a kitchen we made the trip around the corner to get some food from the store to cook the first homemade dinner in a long time. A very nice hotel located, and near a lot of good winery definitely worth the stay.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in February for a weekend of wine tasting. The hotel was almost empty, and so was much of the town. Not much to do here in February. The pub across the street had 2 other people in it on Saturday night. So, we got a pretty good deal at the hotel, but maybe we could have got a better one… We paid $ 100 per night for a mountain/city view studio booking from the internet. A couple months after reserving I saw a Groupon deal for a 2 bedroom lake view suite for $ 100. I could have cancelled my reservation and bought the groupon but I didn’t need 2 bedrooms for my wife and I(not very romantic). But I wanted the lake view so I called them up and see if I could upgrade at no cost. They didn’t understand and told me to just buy the groupon and they would figure it out. No, I just wanted a lake view. I gave up and stayed with what I had. The room was nice with a little kitchnette that even had a dishwasher. I didn’t use it but it was pretty nice. We had a nice balcony looking over the main stoplight in town. Bed was awesome and the room was big. Only real problem was one goofup on the second night. When we came back to the hotel the 2nd night, my card key didn’t work to get in the parking garage. I had to back out and go to the desk where they explained that I had only booked for one night. No, I said I had the receipt from booking 2 nights in the car. They assured me that I was wrong and had only booked 1 night. No matter, they added the second night and gave me new card keys. When we got to our room, the wireless wouldn’t work. I went back to the desk and the lady said she figured out their mistake on missing the 2nd night. No apology. She also explained that their internet was working fine and I should just reboot. I had already tried that and all 3 of our wireless devices were not working. She told me to reboot again. I just left and 30 minutes later, everything started working. They must have rebooted their wireless router. So, nice place, great room and bed but they just didn’t have the customer service that it would take to get 5 stars.

I did not stay here, but I did have dinner. Chef Natasha has a great feel for creativity. The Macaroni & Cheese with Roasted Peaches and Bacon was just wonderful. I still think about it!
