This was the first time my friend and I tried this place and it was really cute. It was a house turned into a restaurant so they definitely have the homey vibe down packed. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We shared a chicken empada and their signature soup with a turkey panini. The chicken empada was basically a chicken pot pie but the filling was generous and was very flavourful. I find a lot of pot pies have runny fillings but this one was not at all; however, creamy enough for it to melt in your mouth. The pastry was not flakey but more of a bread type crust. The soup was a chicken soup but the texture was very interesting in that there was blended up grain or something that made it thicker. We weren’t sure what it was but it gave it a grainier texture. I generally stay away from buying soups in restaurants because I find that they are always really salty but this one was not at all. My friend thought it tasted under salted but I thought it was fine, especially if eaten with the panini(of which it was served with). The turkey panini was definitely the highlight for me. Though it was pretty small, it certainly packed a punch. The bread was crispy and the cheese was gooey. For dessert, we ordered a fruit tart and something called the Felicio bombom. The tart was special in that they did not use a custard but rather something really creamy and had a slight milky flavour. We believe that sweetened condensed milk is one of the ingredients but that’s besides the point. If you’re looking for something creamy, this is definitely for you. We shared the tart and tapped out even after scraping some of the filling out. I also want to say that the crust is harder and crunchier than your typical fruit tart. Saving the best for last, we have the Felicio Bombom. There is only one word that can describe this and it is «decadent.» It is the epiphany of decadent. If you looked the word up in the thesaurus, Felicio’s Bombom would be there. Tell me this does not sound decadent: A goey center of dulce de leche and chocolate covered in a thin salted dark chocolate coating. I kid you not, we could not speak for half a minute after taking one bite of this thing because of all the smooth and creamy goodness. It is very expensive for the amount that you get but you honestly don’t need a lot and it is definitely worth a try. All in all I loved the turkey panini and Felicio’s bombom but I would recommend the chicken empada as well because it was good. Just not as good in my opinion.

I am seriously in love with this place. It’s a house converted to the coziest boutique restaurant. It feels like coming home! The owners clearly take pride in using the highest quality ingredients and everything I’ve had has been ridiculously yummy. I’ve been there for coffee with friends, a quick date with my husband(we had the cakes in a cup… such a cute idea) and then most recently a lunch date with my parents for their birthdays. We had a soup, salad, dessert combo and while it wasn’t on the cheap side, we all left very satisfied.

I’ve been here a handful of times. The serve lunch and dessert. My favourite dish is the chicken pie/empanadas so flavourful with a side garden salad, the dressing is so yummy. The portions are small but they are filing. It is also quite expensive for the portion size but the quality is excellent and the staff is nice. Not a lot of seating. I would go back.
