There’s not much to pick from dining wise in Okanagan Falls but this place is over the top good. It’s modern and a bit edgy and kind of out in the middle of nowhere but that’s good because there’s nothing else close by! Everything else is back beyond Penticton and on the Bench. If you’re looking for a non-pub dinner in the far south Okanagan area I highly recommend this place.

In a nutshell: great food and service, amazing view. We came to the Liquidity winery and bistro on a Monday afternoon following a recommendation for the best patio view(it won some award last year) and boy it it deliver… First we stopped to taste the wines and then proceeded to the calm patio overlooking the vineyards and more distant hills. Sitting next to the overflowing water element(don’t know how to describe it) was very relaxing. Just spectacular(see photo). Service was quick and our server was friendly and knowledgable. Very professional. The food was very appealing to the eye and palat. My wife had the mussels which was very flavorful and I enjoyed the toasted baguette sandwich with prosciutto and brie cheese, one of the best sandwiches I had in years(or maybe it was the combination of good food, amazing views and some alcohol in my bloodstream?). At any event. Warmly recommended.

Great to have another winery restaurant to add to the mix! Happened upon this place somewhat by accident, it’s tucked away behind Okanagan Falls in a lovely spot, overlooking Vaseux Lake. The food is great, art work is a fantastic bonus(owner’s private collection, who has an obvious passion and is very interesting to chat to) and of course the wine, which was also excellent. Hope this place gets the success it deserves.

Wow, people seem to either love this place or hate it. I was kind of in the middle… We only stopped in for a wine tasting so maybe next time we should try a dining experience. I thought the staff were a bit awkward, and when we tried to chat with them they didn’t really try to continue the conversation. The winery is nice and the wine, though there was very limited commodity available was very good. We ended up leaving with a bottle and there is no doubt in my mind we will be back next time we are in the area.

Beautiful building and view. Food and service was great. Our server was personable and professional. Definitely worth a visit if you are in OK Falls. Try the Chardonnay! It’s a beautiful and creamy white wine.

We’ve been here a few times and the experience always leaves me cold. The wine is good but the service is sub-par. The venue is actually spectacular — hence the multiple visits; beautiful art and large installations, grounds are wonderful and the view is amazing. However, I would say this place is on the high side of pretentious. Food is good and well-presented but not a lot of options for those with dietary issues. And it’s on the high side of expensive. The wine list available at the restaurant is good and all local but the prices they charged are outrageous — more than doubling the winery pricing; even their own which is hilarious to me seeing as it’s just paces over to purchase your own bottle. They really need to re-think their approach. They have the potential to really own this market but not the way they are going about it now. So… it’s definitely a must-see but manage your expectations.

This is a review of the restaurant. By far the best meal we had on our 4.5 day trip. Simple, unique menu. Ingredients were fresh. Execution is spot on. Flavors are perfect. I can eat here everyday Tomatoe soup — so simple right? but done perfectly with a hint of spiciness Flat bread– yummmm Pasta — omg cooked to perfection

I’ve spent an extraordinary amount of time trying to review this restaurant and it boils down to this: beautiful venue — you can’t beat their view — however a bit more lighting at night would have maybe enhanced our dining experience to actually see our food — or maybe not disappointing service — no introduction by the server, don’t even think she smiled. Was repeatedly told«ladies first» and still didn’t get it on her own, tended to duck and run away; we had to leave our table twice to go consult with the kitchen about food pairings; no consideration for allergies, etc. She just didn’t wasn’t interested in us at all. inconsistent food. Some food was tasty but cooked poorly(med rare in the middle, crusty on the edges), some food was average and some food was barely eaten at all. Any no queries about why. Strange. Overall a very disappointing experience. So disappointing that I’m not interested in returning for a second chance.

We had dinner at Luquidity over the weekend and it was spectacular! Fresh local food and wines from the local wineries. The food flavor, the food presentation, the art, the landscaping, the architectural design, the service and THEVIEW all rate 5 Stars. Well done to their whole team for finally giving the Sonora Room Restaurant a run for the best in the Okanagan. We will be back with friends.

The Sommelier at Mission Hill recommended us to drop by this local gem after our stop at Blue Mountain Vineyard, and we are so happy that we did. This 7-weeks old vineyard is truly a rising star. When you walk into the lobby your eyes will open up to the view of the oily-green vineyard through the patio glass. Look around you will appreciate art works from Liquidity designer — Ian’s private Art collection. This is definitely a clean, modern yet welcoming space. The tasting room is located to your left, and you can enjoy beautiful whites and reds poured by the classy staff. The Viognier 2012 and Merlot 2011 are already sold out. I love the White Blend 2012 that is very citrus and stone fruits on the nose and a natural acidic balance on the tongue. Pinot Noir 2011 is yummy because it’s got a beautiful floral note and a centered tannin structure with ripen berries. You can feel that the team at Liquidity poured their heart and soul into the winery, and it only uses French barrels on site, I look forward to coming back here next year when the patio is opened.
