Until We Meet Again Pet Memorial Center

This company was so genuinely compassionate and caring. Our vet uses them, and when we had to say goodbye to our little cat, we were provided with a grief booklet and information about a pet loss support group (which we did attend, and wow — what a healing space that was). It was so comforting. I spent so much time reading the information on their website and being truly comforted by the business that these folks run, and the way they run it. I couldn’t be happier that these people are doing the business they are — truly spectacular.
Saying goodbye to our little family members is never easy, but I’m so glad to have found this place as a partner in that time. They really care, and that really shows.

When I sensed that the end was near, I did some online research and emailed to get information. UWMA was very helpful and so the NEXT day, after my cat died in my arms, I knew where to take her. It may be hard to get someone on the phone but they are very quick to respond to your emails.
Eve took us into a little room and was patient in answering my questions and providing options. I didn’t know whether to have a witness service so they offered to hold my appointment until I decided. There was no pressure.
When I returned for my baby girl, I also brought my dog’s ashes as they said that they could transfer him to a pouch. When I had him cremated 10 years ago in NY, I was told that there may be some bone fragments so I’ve been reluctant to do the transfer myself. The lady (Cheryl? Shareen? Sorry I can’t remember but she was very nice) came back with this blue velvet bag (my cat was returned in a mesh pouch) and held on to it instead of giving it to me, I knew something was wrong. She explained that there were more bone fragments, although not recognizable, if it were her dog, she wouldn’t want to look at it. I had explained earlier how I wanted to make a pouch and knit a sleeve for them so I would have had to take the plastic bag out. She then said that they could «process» him so the ashes would be very fine like my cat’s but I would need to come back to pick him up. In less than 5 mins, she returned and my dog’s ashes were returned in a mesh pouch. They did it then and did it for free.
They were very professional, patient and considerate. I would highly recommend them. If you do some research, you will find that they passed the Steele On Your Side test where they sent sausages packed into stuff toys (frozen so you can’t tell) to various cremation facilities and some came back with bones/​ashes.

One of my cats recently passed away and the vet I go to uses this company for cremation. But I had some questions such as, how do I know I really get the ashes of my own pet, what the process is, how long does it take to receive the ashes back so I gave them a call directly. Even though all this info is already on their website, I wanted to speak to a person to get a feel of the business. The person I spoke to was wonderful, caring, patient and compassionate, especially as I started crying. She explained the process and how each pet is cremated on their own. A few days later, the vet called and I picked up the ashes in the ceramic urn I had chosen, a certificate of cremation, and a grief pamphlet. In difficult times, it is very nice to see that some companies have a lot of ethics and compassion towards pets and pet owners.

I had 2 pets pass away in 1 year. They were most patient and understanding. I felt that my pets were treated with respect and I am forever grateful for that.

I got my elderly cat cremated after she was put to sleep. The vet I had her euthanized at uses them. I paid extra for private cremation and was pleased when I picked up her ashes. They were in an urn wrapped in tissue paper, with a brochure on pet loss and a card.
I looked the company up online and saw that they were in an article about memorial centers giving people who’d paid for private cremations ashes of other random pets. But UWMA was one of the honest ones who passed the test.
My other pets and I hope we don’t have to use their service again for a while, but pleased with having something to remember old Hannah cat by.
