Gorgeous food with nice view and kind service. Charcuterie board was the best appetizer I have had ever. Don’t miss it. You’d better reserve your seat if you wanna have dine with beautiful view.

We have had dinner at the Ravine twice. Both times we were able to get outdoor seating on the patio overlooking the vineyard and watch the sun set. Wait staff were attentive and very helpful. I understand that much of their food is grown or raised on premises. Started with the charcuterie board on the recommendation of others, which is a quite interesting variety of 8 – 10 meats, pâté, pickled vegetables and nuts. Our table had the ling cod, tenderloin, lamb shank and homemade pasta. Portions were not overly generous, but artfully presented. Pasta was reportedly overly salted, but overall in our experience, the food quality here has been excellent. One thing I particularly liked this time was the variety of interesting accompaniments and different tastes. That they only feature their own wines is a negative, but the ones we had were good.

Tip: If you want a good view of the vineyard, book in advance and ask to be at the front of the patio. Although we booked in advance, I was pretty disappointed that we got seats at the back of the patio(with no views of the vineyard) despite there being a few unoccupied seats at the front. We started off with some oysters and has the duck leg and burger for lunch. Duck leg was seasoned to perfect and the crispy skin made the dish. However the meat was a little too well done. Burger was great, big tender and juicy patty. I had called in to request a cake for my dad’s birthday. However once it came time for dessert, I had to ask the staff only to find out the cake that I request was no longer available. We ended up being served something more along the lines of a pie… Otherwise, service was good, waiters were very attentive. It got a little chilly and our waiter was instructing us on how to turn on the heat on the patio.

This was an incredible food experience. The venue is beautiful and added to the evening. The food was spectacular. Each dish was full and abounding with flavor and unique attributes. The beef tenderloin, the pork rack and the shepherds Pie were out of this world. The servers were all attentive, courteous, pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend a dinner here to anyone visiting. Niagra on the lake is a beautiful area and Ravine Vineyards is just lovely all around.

I really love both the winery and restaurant at Ravine! The menu has been different every time I’ve gone but the food has been consistently good. It has a great atmosphere and the staff are very attentive!

It was a quick stop to just try out some ice wine on our last day in Niagara. The wine was so great that we ended up buying the entire bottle to take with us. The restaurant itself was very beautifully decorated and the service was fast and friendly. The vineyard is huge and pretty impressive.

One of the best meals I have ever had. The carrot root cake was amazing. I had a beautiful cod dish and loved every bit. Will come back for sure!

Loved the food, wine, service and they were wonderfully accommodating of our toddler who polished off an adult-sized serving of delicious pasta the chef made just for her. Their charcuterie was out of this world — apparently made from pigs they raise themselves. Their copa, terrine, pickled vegetables… everything was amazing. I couldn’t get enough. Kept trying to convince the server to sell me some bootleg sausage to take home. Brined and grilled pork rack with vegetables and fingerling potato mash was an extremely generous portion and tasted wonderful. Overall — the experience was simply wonderful. Not a cheap meal, but definitely a great special occasion spot. They also allow you to take any un-finished wine home with you if you order a bottle. Their cab sauv was surprisingly full bodied and earthy, great value for money.

Delicious ice wine! Also, they have a fabulous cheese shop in the back. Don’t miss it! It’s a quaint older building!

In the area on business and looking to drive around a bit to find a good lunch. Ravine filled this objective well! The view out from the patio is beautiful and serene. The food is creative and tasty. And of course the wine selection is good. I was a little hesitant about some comments pointing out slow service. They patio plus insider were fairly full and the food came out about at the rate I would expect. I had a soup to start and came out timely. The chicken breast may have been a little long, but absorbing myself in the view and a second glass of wine took care of that problem! Be sure to hit the wine tasting room after your meal, it’s complementary!

Exceedingly exuberant and enthusiastic greetings and services from the staff at the restaurant and the tasting room. An estate with long local and family history. Charming, quaint, elegant, rustic, and intimate. Interior spaces from tasting room, store, outdoor bar, patio, to restaurant are impeccably designed and decorated. A cellar-esque room in the basement serves private parties. The food was excellent, though some dishes impressed more than others. In general the menu is creative, authentic, sourced locally(piggies are raised at the on-site farm). Our wine of choice for the day: 2013 Ravine Vineyard Chardonnay.

Hubby and I came here for lunch after visiting the falls and the winery/restaurant is very charming compared to the other McMansion-like winery buildings in the area. We shared a bottle of their rose, the charcuterie platter and the burger. The service was extremely slow. I don’t understand why it took more than half an hour for them to bring out a cold platter. The restaurant was mostly empty with only had around 3 or 4 tables with customers. We were almost done with our wine before the food came. The platter was good, with a good selection of meat and pickles. The burger was braised, not grilled as normal burgers. The party was solid and dense, almost like meatloaf. It had more seasoning than just a run of the mill burger patty but the texture was a bit off for a burger. It was pretty good, just different. I think the restaurant would be 4 stars if the service wasn’t so slow. Otherwise, I think this is a great spot for lunch.

Foie Gras were coked to perfection… Crêpe wrapping cherry was a very nice touch to finish off the dish. The soup of the day was fabulous but I barely get to have any as it quickly became my 2 years old favorite. Lamb Shank was done perfectly and the Pasta special was once again eaten up by my 2 year old. Service was excellent and that the reservation at the restaurant get you voucher for free tasting. Table wine were some of the best in the region. It has to be a must go in the region

Maybe it’s my first dining experience at a winery. Maybe it’s the wine. I don’t know but this place was really good and I love it! We ordered the charcuterie board. It was delicious. It’s the blend of the lovely sugar coated nuts, pickled veggies, cured meats, some fungi and a little pot of liver. The board came with some slices of baguette. The baguette was so good I wished there were more. I devoured it and bought another loaf next door to take home with me. I drank some Cab Franc with this dish and I thought the pairing was magnificent. Unfortunately the winery ran out of Cab Franc and they don’t know when they will be releasing another batch. Note, if you eat at the winery, the receipt entitles you to a free tasting at the winery. My spouse had the croquet madame and he really enjoyed it. The sunny side egg was perfectly cooked and the cheese was gooey. We also shared some oysters as appetizers. They tasted fresh and pretty standard. The setting of this winey is quite pretty and romantic with large floor to ceiling windows. You can choose to eat inside or outside. Make sure you make reservations though as they tend to be fully booked on weekends.

The perfect spot to grab lunch in the summer! Great food and great service, but without the stuffiness. I loved the relaxing and casual atmosphere of the patio. And the food just speaks for itself. I had the grilled and chilld vegetable salad to start, which was the epitome of summer on a plate. The bites of feta and olives were added a lovely salty flavour. I followed my salad with the early summer vegetable risotto. It was one of those dishes that is pretty standard, but it was done so well that it made it exceptional. It was a surprisingly large portion too — I couldn’t finish it! Our waiter said they switch up the menu with the seasons, so I’m looking forward to returning in the fall.

Open and spacious winery that’s provides ping pong tables for guests to play while enjoying some wine. The tour was ok but seems like it really depends on the guide that you get. The restaurant looks really nice although I didn’t get a chance to dine there, I saw many happy faces.

We dropped in for lunch because of all the commotion about the wood burning oven. However they don’t serve the pizza in the dining area, so we decided to have some apps in then go over to the oven area for a pizza — best decision we ever made. We ordered a salad and a burger. Both were amazing. The burger was incredible! The salad had almonds and a cherry vinegrette which was surperb. We had a margherita pizza from the bar which was good, but wasn’t as good as I expected it to be. I’ve had better pizza. The food from the dining area is definitely the winner here. The service was pretty good as well, the waitress was very attentive which was different from other restaurants in the Niagara area. You can also take the receipt from dining/bar and get a free wine tasting from the tasting room, that was an added bonus. I will be back definitely. Great job Ravine!
