They block netflix on their slow network. How slow is it though? I did a speed test and it measured a paltry 1.5mbps down and 2.5 up which is not even considered broadband. 2 out of 4 door handles were broken in our suite including the bathroom, the bathtub stopper was broken so the water would not stay in the tub; a relaxing bath was out of the question. Though it was clean and spacious, it was not well maintained and blocking netflix access is just downright sleezy.

If I could give less than one star I would. We made a reservation through one of the typical hotel websites and got a decent rate. Upon arrival the informed us of several other fees they would be charging. Parking is about $ 14 per day for a super sketchy, unsecured, dark, uncrowded lot. They charge several other cleaning type hospitality fees which are a joke. We were traveling with a well behaved dog and this was noted in our reservations. Upon arrival they told us they also charge a minimum $ 30 per day fee for pets. We were staying 2 nights so that would be an additional $ 60. We have stayed in some amazing quality hotels with our dog and never payed more than $ 25 for a multi day visit. Entry to hotel was dirty and run down. Key card at door didn’t work. Hallway walls were peeling. There was cat hair in our room and stains all over the sheets. Please do not waste your time or money on this scam of a hotel.

First off i am very easy to please. But this place lied to us from the start. It is not within walking distance if the falls there are inly views of parking lot. The bed sheets are covered in stains and door was broke. Make sure you read the fine print because the charge 4.99 facility fees and 13.99 parking fee after they told us no fees. Please for the sake of just proving a point go somewhere else and dont let these people treat customers this way

Where do I begin?! This hotel has been by far the worst hotel I stayed at. First, we booked our hotel here thinking it’s close to Niagara Falls because on the Groupon it stated that it’s walking distance to Niagara Falls, that was a lie, unless you plan on hiking there. It was a 10 minute drive if not longer, so I’d say at least a half hour walking. I believe it was 2 miles away from the hotel. Second, they have advertised outside that they have wifi, they do have wifi, but wifi that’s completely useless. It’s so damn slow. You can’t load anything on social media, let alone play a 30 second video. Third, don’t be fooled by the water bottles sitting on the dresser, we thought they’re complementary, but they’re not. Regular water bottles that they’ll charge you for $ 2.99 for. So don’t drink it! Lol Fourth, they charge you $ 14 for parking a day, in their own damn parking lot!!! They have 3 separate building, one main building where you check in and two others where they have people stay in, and a parking lot with the most narrow parking spots I’ve ever seen in my life. People would take up 2 parking spots so you’d be forced to park all the way in the back and walk to your building. Not very convenient when you have a ton of things to carry. Fifth, the tv absolutely sucked. None of the channels worked, and if they did, they’d work for about 10 mins and the picture would start going blurry. So a tv that sucked and Internet that didn’t work basically. Last but not least, the staff was very rude. They basically don’t know what customer satisfaction means. They don’t care if you stayed there or not. If we haven’t booked there prior I would have definitely left and went to a different hotel. Also, I found a hair on my towel, which I was completely disgusted by, there was also some on tub. Save yourself the money and headache. There are a ton of hotels that are actually walking distance to Niagara Falls and skylon, like the holiday inn. Do some research before booking a hotel, take it from me!

We stayed at the Ramada Plaza from July 6 through July 9, 2015 after booking it through a Groupon deal. The hotel charges $ 14CAN a day for parking(the hotel has a private parking lot), but the lot is oddly shaped and can fill up. Also, the hotel is not that close to Niagara Falls and the tourist attractions there, so it was disappointing to pay for parking at the hotel AND wherever we went to visit. Also, the WiFi service is awful. It’s slow and truly very inconsistent. When we complained about an inability to connect reliably, we were told to use the hotel’s computers if we really needed the Internet. Why advertise your free WiFi if it doesn’t work? Our room was a king suite: it had a seating area and a separate bedroom, which had doors for privacy. The room, overall, was neat, but there were a few things that came up. When we arrived, we had to wipe the bathroom light switch with WetOnes because it looked like someone smeared red lipstick on it, and there was also lipstick on a towel. The sheets had a few tiny stains on them, though they were clearly clean. The grout in the bathroom was very dirty. Altogether, it was a bunch of little things that added up to making the hotel seem a little grotty. The corners of walls in the hallway were dinged and dirty, there was seemingly randomly placed furniture in the hallway(a black leather sofa and a mismatched table), but it didn’t seem like anyone cared to even put flowers on the table to make it look like it belonged. The hotel was adequate overall, but a little bit more care for the appearance would really make it look much better. On our last day, I smiled at the housekeeper, who I passed in the hallway, and she scowled at me. So that was pleasant.

Went to this hotel for the weekend and the gym had a leak in the ceiling and smelled mouldy. The front desk rep gave my friend the card to another guest’s room. Won’t be going back.

For $ 66, this is the best hotel you can probably get at this price. Room was clean and pretty big. No issues at all with room. I still can’t believe the price for this! The only thing bad, cost extra for parking. Will i come back… absolutely. You can’t go wrong!
