Hearty, family friendly breakfast choices — always! It was fun to trace the way on foot from the Rainbow Bridge, in the vein of Can’t Get There From Here. Entered Crown Plaza/climbed stairs to lobby/diverted to hallway and passed the onvention rooms/took Parking Lot elevator to Level4/crossed covered garage lot to outside exit next to the casino/Jay walked on diagonal to Perkins. Had to knock it down a star because the«Fit» low cal breakfast scramble was made by a non believer cook. Sun dried tomatoes were delish even if verboten by my cal counter, eggs multiplied to about 3 or 4 from menu’s smaller portion. And of course, I ate it all. Adding a star back on because the Devil cook made me do it

Our waitress was lovely and that’s why this review is getting two stars. If you want to charge 15 $ for breakfast you should not be poaching eggs in the microwave & serving powdered hollondaise sauce.

This place is average and certainly acceptable for a sit-down breakfast. The waitress ignored us when we arrived while she talked to her friends but turned out to be nice and accommodating. It seems like a restaurant for the older crowd. The milk and cream comes in plastic containers and causes a lot of unnecessary waste, as does extra mayo. These items could easily come in porcelain containers and save a lot of unnecessary waste, making the restaurant healthier for the environment.

Stayed at the Wyndham for a night and got a 25% off at Perkins so have it a go. I had the Granny’s omelet with breakfast potatoes and the omelet was well done. The potatoes were nice and crispy with no greasiness at all. My wife had the Belgian waffle plate. Her waffles were light and fluffy and the trio of syrups were tasty. Her eggs were not the best and the chicken sausage was merely okay. We got a fruit bowl and the fruit was fresh and sweet. It’s a lot of food for the price and worth checking out.

Inexpensive quick breakfast spot. The servers were pleasant only thing is basted eggs with eggs benedict why not poached?

When I rated this, I was comparing it to the lack of anything like this in Toronto. The overall experience was worth me coming here twice, and so the consistency is worth 4 stars. The seating is comfy, plenty of booths, décor is cozy and cute and it’s a fairly big restaurant. The waiters were extremely friendly both times I went and the washrooms relatively clean. The service was also quite prompt. We didn’t wait for our food much too long, very decent timing. Most importantly, we got a whole thermos full of coffee!(probably my favorite part of it all). I got eggs bennie, and considering that’s my favorite breakfast food you can only imagine how often I order bennies at breakfast/brunch places. I have to say, compared to the billion other places I’ve had bennies, they top my list in the best at places I’ve eaten out. Sure they don’t compare to my homemade bennies, but then again I doubt any restaurant uses real butter and egg yolk to make their hollandaise sauce. Pretty sure it’s the powdered stuff. So to get back to my point, overall good bennies for a resto! Their fruits were fresh, their french toast was fantastic I must say and my mom enjoyed her pancakes. Overall, very decent food and prices, good service, consistent quality and experience. 4 stars.

The food was ok. A bit too expensive, especially if you don’t get the 25% off from staying at the hotel. Service was good but the restaurant itself is a bit uninviting.

We got in right at dinner time and were hungry so we decided to try Perkin’s since it was attached to our hotel. I had a wonderful fresh salad and my kids all enjoyed their kids menu that included fresh fruit with it. In fact we loved it so much we ended up eating here 3 more times. The service and food were great! Can’t wait to come here again next time we visit!

The«perks» of working at «Perkins» are that you work around a lot of «perky» workers who know exactly how wealthy every nation on earth is «perk capita». During my 2010 North America Tour, I stopped off in Niagara Falls and St. Cath twice, to play a show in each. One time, I didn’t have time to eat at all, and I ran out of gas. However, the other time, things went slightly better. Except for the food. The locals kept telling me this was the best diner in the area. Are you kidding? I was told this was better than the US ones. It was awful! I can’t give it a 1 because the service was nice but the food is so awful and bland! I’m sorry. I don’t really understand why Canadians like Perkins, but apparently it’s a big deal to my 2 friends that live in St. Catherine’s, and they wanted to take me to «their favourite breakfast place». I assured them, we have these in the USA too… but they said theirs would be «different.» It wasn’t… it was basically the same thing we have at Perkins in the USA… if you like standard boring chain diner food, it’s great. Personally, I don’t, so this scores a 2 just like the one in B-lo.

TERRIBLE food, awful service. Obviously Frozen burger(meat + bun) warmed up in the microwave and served 20mn after being ordered while we are the inly patrons in the ‘restaurant’, the wAitress who asks who wants water but never bring any and so on. AVOID!

Ate here twice on a recent trip to Niagara Falls. Why twice? A fair question and the only answer is it was close to our hotel. The first meal I had was the buffalo wing chicken wrap with blue cheese and it was huge, but tasted very processed. The second meal I had was the hungry man’s breakfast. I was really disappointed with the potato rosti. It was very under cooked and had a rancid oil taste. And honestly I was too scared to even try one of the meat substances served on the plate. This place looks really depressing inside; rundown, tired, outdated just like a lot of the other places on this strip. The only saving grace of the experience is at least both servers were pleasant.

The food was really fresh. I ordered the eggs Benny and it came with proper Canadian bacon and home made hollandaise sauce. Delish! The service was outstanding. Our waitress was very friendly and even helped us plan the rest of our day.

As if the breakfasts at Perkins weren’t great already, our hotel manager comped us today, then send over the best pancakes ever. Easily my fav breakfast place when away from home. Wish they established a Perkins closer to home.

This restaurant is attached to the Wyn hotel. It’s a kind of Canadian ihop/denny’s. Decently priced breakfasts with a nice selection of syrups for your pancakes. Service is friendly. I like they leave you a whole thermos of coffee at your table side. There’s a patio for those who might want to catch some sun while dining.

To give you an idea of what this restaurant was all about, just imagine walking to an Ihop. They have a decent breakfast/lunch menu, nothing special about it, but nothing I can complain about either. Our waitress was patience and friendly so that was a plus and the breakfast portions were pretty big. I would recommend you to go there if you are looking for a respectable meal without breaking your bank. Advantages: Good family atmosphere Good prices Close distance from Niagara Falls Moderate loudness

The Perkins in my sweetie’s home town is «our restaurant», because it’s where we first met. So when I finally got a chance to show her around my new stomping grounds, the itinerary just had to include a drive past the falls, and a meal at a restaurant which says, «I love you» just by taking her there. Of course, there are other reasons that I like Perkins: the food is(normally) both better and cheaper than competing chains, and the service is friendly and attentive. This location is easy to find, since it’s right on Stanley Avenue. Compared to our Perkins, the décor is much less«homey»: sort of an ultramodern, almost cold look. Because it’s in the Wyndham Hotel, parking is plentiful.(Although it might have been harder to find a free spot if we had gone at the height of the tourist season.) The service was just as good as we’re used to. Our server was very good. Since it was the Sunday before Canadian Thanksgiving, we decided to go for the turkey dinner, and pumpkin pie, and those were very good choices. The turkey slices were definitely thicker than in many places, and lay on top of a generous helping of stuffing.(I love stuffing, so I liked that part, although this stuffing was just a tad heavy on the sage. Not enough to make it unpleasant, really, but enough that it tended to obscure any other spices which may have been present.) The mashed potatoes were real, I think, or else a much better brand of instant than the dreck I’ve encountered in some cheaper establishments. The vegetables were nicely done, too. The pumpkin pie was good, and the whipped cream came on the side, instead of on top.(I presume that this is for the benefit of those poor deluded souls who don’t like whipped cream on their pumpkin pie.) All in all, it was the nicest turkey dinner that I’ve ever had in a restaurant(or at least the best that I can remember). However, I do have to say that the price was probably about 70% higher than we would have paid for the same meal in «our» Perkins. We had a little discussion on the reason for that, but couldn’t decide whether the jacked-up prices were because this Perkins is attached to a high-end hotel, because it’s in a tourist trap part of town, or part of the generally high food prices which seem to be endemic in Ontario. In any case, even though the food was excellent, I decided to take off a point and a half because of the outrageous pricing.(The other half point is for the sage overdose in the stuffing.)

Although I have seen signs for Perkins many times when going on road trips, This is my first visit to a Perkins. This location is brand new and spotless. I am not sure if all Perkins are decorated this way, as this one has the same modern décor as the Wyndham Hotel it resides in, looks very nice. Staff is very friendly and super attentive. Prices like everywhere else in this area, very expensive(double US prices for the same item at the same chain). French toast here $ 14.99 and it was just that, two slices of French toast. Two eggs, toast and two very small pieces of bacon, $ 17.99. It was standard breakfast, nothing out of this world. Good thing it was packaged with our hotel room otherwise would have paid paid premium price for a standard breakfast.
