Considering how often I hear IHOP is the«place to go» when visiting the States, I was expecting much more from this experience. The menu was ridiculously overpriced, portion sizes were small, and the food was just mediocre. The only redeeming factor was service because we had a gleeful waitress, but even then, she made a few mistakes with our bill.

Terrible experience, ridiculous price and bad food. The manager tried to charge us extra 3% «TFI» tax. She said it was required. This is a volunteer tax and it’s illegal to say is required. Don’t waste your time there…

I LOVEBREAKFAST. This is no surprise to anyone who knows me. So, when a friend suggested brunch at Ihop, I was all in. Walking towards the restaurant doors, we were greeted with a $ 10 off coupon — sweet! Our server was friendly, and was patient as we took awhile to decide what to eat — there are a lot of tasty choices! Deciding on dessert for breakfast(of course!), I had the banana strawberry french toast, while my friend has the stuffed french toast. Coffee came in a big carafe for the table(thank you!!), and our meal came quickly. With four(yes, four!) types of syrup on the table(original, strawberry, blueberry, butter pecan — strawberry was my personal fav), I was a happy camper. A bit pricier, as with everything in Niagara Falls, but a solid choice for a delicious desserty brunch.

Besides the prices being a bit ridiculous for breakfast… the food was really good and the service was pretty good too.

Ridiculously high prices! Service was great. View, considering it was on third floor, was aweful. No complaints with food except the highly inflated cost. For two people to have lunch, and nothing fancy, burger and talapia, the bill was $ 70. I did some research online about the Niagara Destination Marketing fee(TIF) of 4.75%. It’s a very shady practice some establishments participant in, whereby the hide a restaurant surcharge as a tax. There is no central tourist improvement board in Niagara, so the money goes directly to the owner. We asked for ours to be taken off, which they gladly adjusted bill for. Here is more information on Niagara’s TIF scam

Incredibly overpriced. Tiny portions. Dirty. Slow service. Average food. Not even a nice view(given its on the 3rd floor). Washrooms are one floor down, which is a pain if you come with kids. No idea why we ended up here — pretty sure it was the last time.

This visit counted as a «woops.» Prices are high, coffee was watery and my menu was practically glued together with leftover syrup. A good reminder to check reviews first.

The service was not very friendly and the prices are atleast 20% higher than the average IHop in the states(even when you factor in the exchange rate).

I know I know, Niagara Falls is a tourist trap BUT you would think IHOP would be ok. This one is NOT. Just shy of $ 50 for breakfast for 2??? YIKES. And I had to ASK for butter for my toast. Ketchup came in small individual pouches like you get in any fast food restaurant. Tea and coffee were just under $ 4. No bathrooms in the restaurant, you need to get in the elevator and go down a floor(I didn’t even think this was legal). I had 2 fried eggs, 2 pork sausage, hashbrown, toast and tea. My wife had 2 scrambled eggs, 2 bacon, 2 pancakes with coffee. $ 44 and change! On the plus side, the hashbrowns were pretty good and the food in general was acceptable but you can get the same breakfast anywhere outside the falls for around $ 5. Staff were friendly enough. I left with an upset stomach and I don’t think it was because of the food. ps oh the toast did come with one free pack of jam, most restaurants would have a selection sitting on the table. Never again.

Brunch at IHOP today reminded me why I should check reviews BEFORE visiting an establishment After a long walk along the falls, my friend and I started to crave a late breakfast. My last IHOP experience being a decent one in NYC, I pointed to this location and suggested we eat there. I had to pick up the CHEQUE in the end from the sheer GUILT. I ordered the Breakfast sampler and asked for no hash browns and an extra egg. Eggs to be friend medium. My company went for a strawberry crêpe combo(with two eggs, medium hard) BOTH of us got our eggs over easy despite careful instructions. My friend had to send hers back cause the uncooked yolk is ill advised for pregnant women. They came back with EGGSHELLS in them. The crepes tasted more like poorly done pancakes– rubbery, thick– and the strawberry compote was more like strawberry residual. Even my ham and sausages undercooked no color. EVERYTHING screamed factory, plastic, down to the concentrate watered down OJ The Bacon was a travesty(not in Canada!) The coffee was an embarrassment. The pancakes were better than the crepes But both were tasteless I RECOMMEND– spending your 25 or so dollars PERHEAD elsewhere EXTRATIP– No maple syrup! Even for extra cost No Canadian or peameal bacon …So much for the«Ontario» experience

DONTEATHERE!!! I was here yesterday,(August 7th) for breakfast. I couldn’t believe the price of food here, we ordered the normal breakfast special and the bill was like almost $ 60 for three small meals. Greasy and very small portions. Also there’s two floors if this place, on the second your separated from everyone an we felt forgotten. Are food took forever. CRAPCRAPCRAP

If you’re ever told. «It’s really busy right now, but the second floor serves the same food» Then you should just walk out. There’s a reason that the 2nd floor is completely empty. It’s the poor service, poor quality food, and ridiculously high prices. $ 20 for pancakes eggs and meat? You can go to Fallsview Casino and get all you can eat buffet for the same price, or half the price if you go for breakfast before 11am, Don’t waste your time or money here.

Ordered Smokehouse combo with sausage, hash brown, 2 eggs, 2 pancakes and a coffee. 4 flavours of syrup to choose from in cute little containers already situated on the table. The hashbrown was amazing as well. Bill for 2 comes up around $ 50.00 a little steep for brunch but the food was worth it.

Quite possibly the most incompetently run chain restaurant I’ve been in. The pricing seems to reflect a yet to be announced wave of inflation striking the country. For the tidy sum of $ 13CAD I received 6 triangular shaped hockey pucks of raw undercooked French toast. Or perhaps this is some innovation I’m unaware of in French toast circles to have a crunchy uncooked layer inside. My partner received some French toast concoction complete with still-frozen strawberries. The rather snotty waitress Bryar then proceeded to lecture us about not informing her soon enough about our dismal brunch(why, so they could repeat the same performance with an added dash of spite?). If there was an apology in there about the food I must have missed it. Then on top of that they fraudulently tried to charge us a TIF3.8% fee they mislabeled as a tax. (See CBC story about this practice — ) AVOID.
