Cozy family-owned restaurant in the heart of Niagara Falls. Perfect ambience for a couples night out. We got steak, veal, and the meat platter all of which were delicious! Excellent customer service it being a family-owned place, would recommend this place to everybody that wants great food for a romantic night out

Such mixed reviews on here. We actually went here because we were cold, tired, and hungry and this restaurant was right across the street from our hotel. I’m glad we went. I didn’t even check it out on Unilocal first. The service was great. We got bread and butter. I had homemade minestrone soup and it was very good. My entrée was spaghetti cooked ‘al dente’ served in olive oil, garlic and hot pepper sauce. It was perfectly cooked and very tasty. It was supposed to be topped with anchovies but I passed on that. They claim their pasta is homemade but I’m not sure about that. Portion sizes were good. Not too much. Just right. Plenty of cold water.

Fresh, fresh, fresh!!! It’s a farm to table restaurant and they make their own pasta too. I had a delicious bow tie pasta with tomatoes, basil and garlic. My husband had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The sauce was freshly made with butter and cream and a touch of nutmeg. The bread was very good and the salad was delicious. Loved the mushrooms in the salad too. It was the waitress’s second day on the job but she was very attentive and answered all of our questions. It’s a family run business and you can tell they really care about quality. If I understood correctly, the 4 brothers retired and now a mother and son operate it. We had eaten lunch at the Whirlpool restaurant that same day and it was equally as fresh. I felt very healthy and very full after eating at two excellent restaurants.

From the outside, and inside, Cucina looks like it would serve authentic Italian food. I come from an Italian American family, and my husband is a former sous chef. So to the Unilocaler who said American tourists don’t know what real quality Mama food is, you’re incorrect. Overpriced and poor quality food. The wait time for service was way too long. We Asked our server for ice water with lemon, she brought cups of lukewarm water with no ice And a sliver of lemon floating inside. We asked for the salad(which is not included with the entrees) to come out with the bruschetta. The bruschetta was the only quality dish we had. Waitress brought the salad out with the entrees, one of which was supposed to be shrimp Alfredo but was chicken. She did bring out some cooked shrimp after son was halfway finished. My husbands lasagna famosa was THE worst lasagna he, and I, had ever tasted. Layers of mushy, very soft noodles. The sauce tasted canned, almost like Chef Boyardee in its blandness. He ate a third of it before he could take it no more. Waitress did comp it from check, but questioned our judgment before doing so. We don’t like to complain and usually will muster through, but this lasagna was so awful and inedible that he left hungry. And… what Italian restaurant does not offer bread with their entrees?! We would steer anyone away from Cucina, head down to Antica where you may have to wait in line, but it is worth it!

Come here with my new husband on our honeymoon and it was lovely. We consider ourselves well to do with food, foodies of you will, and we enjoyed our lunch. I had the ravioli and he had the lasagna. We both could not stop eating! Worth getting the extra $ 5 for the sausage!

Mama approved fine Italian food? Authentic Italian kitchen? This has to be one of the best jokes I’ve ever heard. In fact the whole Menu is a joke. Uninmaginative standard food like the one you find at any Pizza Hut around the corner — I guess the food at Pizza Hut tastes even better than that stuff they serve you here. I guess this restaurant works for American tourists who don’t have any expectations and don’t even know what real, authentic, Mama approved food tastes like, but it doesn’t work for me. I wish I could give 0 stars to this restaurant.

Ate here yesterday for lunch with my girlfriend. Not a bad little Italian place. Recommended for a date. The food was good. Server was a sweatheart. We forgot her name, so my girl says«she was that tall, blonde, pretty waitress we had.»

Whaaaaaat! My sister and I came here yesterday for lunch. We were visiting Niagara Falls and were very hungry after walking around all day. We found this place. 4 brothers was a super nice restaurant with nice decorations and interior and exterior but wait the food was even better! We got super good bruschetta with veggies, minestrone soup, and mushroom fetuccine. The food was excellent! Our waitress was awesome! Very affordable price was definitely right for quality. Some of the best Italian I’ve ever had, I am shocked this place would not have good reviews this place was awesome and I would highly recommend.

I wish I could give this place no stars. We had a terrible waitstaff who kind of insulted us food was alright but pasta was very undercooked. Their sauce had no flavor to it at all and I simply would not recommend this place to anyone. Plus food for the price was not worth it at all. We got two waters and two entrees for $ 50 way too pricey for the quality

All things considered, I’d rather be in the Olive Garden. I ordered lasagna, figuring that a traditional Italian restaurant couldn’t muck it up too bad. I got a plate with mushy, limp pasta shells and a tiny amount of pre-mixed meat and cheese. No chewy mozzarella, and no meat cooked separately to set off the texture of the cheese and pasta. The sauce had no garlic or herbs in it, no chunks of tomato. My girlfriend ordered gnocchi, despite their claims otherwise, it was nothing special. Better than going to the annoying chain restaurants that are everywhere in Niagara Falls, worse than nearly every Italian restaurant I’ve eaten at in my life.

I chose this place on a vacation in Niagara Falls, excited about possibly getting a reasonably priced meal that was tasty and authentic… we left SO disappointed! The bread that came out, while warmed up, was stale and not very good. The calamari appetizer was thick rings of calamari breaded like you would bread mozarella sticks and it came with cocktail sauce, which I have never been served before. When we asked the waitress for some marinara sauce, she mentioned that she had never tried it like that — what?! how is this a true Italian restaurant? We were hoping the main courses would be better. The ravioli in their homemade sauce was just bland. There was absolutely nothing good about it; while not inedible, it was not tasty and I wasn’t left wanting more. My girlfriend got the gniocchi, which was better, but not that great either. She also got a chicken parmesan side, and it was awful — overcooked and dry! Guess we should stick to NY for Italian food. Stay away from this place!

We found this place on Unilocal. When walking down the street, we figured out we could have just kept walking and found plenty of options. This was a quaint looking restaurant from the outside. When we entered it was hard to tell whether we had walked in the front door. We were not immediately greeted. When we sat down, we had already looked at the menu and decided what to order before a waitress even came by. It was painfully quiet in the restaurant. They did give bread out, but it was about average for italian. I got a pasta dish, which was ok, the sauce a tad watery. My sister got spaghetti and she was not impressed. Our waitress was nice I guess.

I grew up in Niagara Falls. No question, this place has the best Italian food in the city. Whether you are a local or tourist, this is the place to go. Authentic, romantic and family friendly. And the prices are very reasonable. If you have the appetite, be sure to ask for the ‘Dining Adventure’; an amazing four course meal for only $ 20 a person!

The food here is just okay, it’s a tourist trap restaurant in Niagara falls so be prepared before you come. Its very dated as well with horrible uncomfortable chairs, at least they could do is update the place with some modem day chairs that don’t made your arse hurt. DON’T GOHEREWITH A COUPON They offer coupons in the entertainment book as well as the Niagara falls coupon book. They will do anything to get out of letting you use your coupon. If the item is on special, forget about it. If soup or dessert is included with your meal, forget about it. You must pay full price and throw your coupon in the garbage because they wont take it.

Was looking for a restaurant not part of the big chains to have lunch. Went here based on Unilocal reviews. This place has parking, good service, friendly staff. We had pasta and meatballs and the special for the day, pasta and meatsauce and mushrooms. Both dishes were very salty/oily and left us feeling a bit sick. Also a strange fly infestation soured the experience somewhat. Overall not great food/ambiance — I wouldn’t go back here.

Most of the breakfast joints off Clifton and Victoria charge quite a lot. This is probably your best bet off Victoria Avenue and the prices are actually reasonable. The hashed browns(i.e. quartered and lightly fried potatoes) are simply a plate of awesome and the plate for fruit won’t disappoint — watermelon, plum, orange slices and grapes! Service is slow, but it’s quiet, petite and has a very homey atmosphere.

We had a party of 14 and had been suggested to a few places around but I kept reading poor reviews on Unilocal.I happened to come across this place. It had two reviews but both positive. They were on the money. Just outside of the touristy part of town, this place had great food and easily took in our party of 14 by placing us upstairs in a private room. It was perfect. Food was good and reasonably priced. I highly reccomend.

My wife and I were taking a vacation near Niagara Falls in December 2008. We just just looking for something to eat randomly and picked this restaurant because they had a dinner special sign outside. It was a very very pleasant surprise. Their chicken parmesana was the best I’ve ever had. If you are in the area, make sure you give them a try. We spent about $ 50 for 2. I wish I can go there again.

This Italian restaurant has been there for about 35 years, so I had to see what’s the big deal. That night they had the chicken parmesan dinner as a special so I ordered that while my boyfriend ordered the lasagna. The décor was nice and romantic with nice Italian music being played. The waitress was nice and attentive with a smile the whole time. While waiting on our food she brought out some bread and a side of crushed olives in olive oil and red peppers complements from the chief. Neither of us care for olives so we were skeptical. Needless to say we gave it a shot and it was pretty good, we dug in. Our entrées were delicious, the pasta was al dente and the salad good as well. It was easy to find and well worth it. We really enjoyed it. Thumbs up.

We were visiting Niagara Falls on the way back home from Toronto and were looking for a non-touristy place to eat. It was early April at the time, Niagara was deserted(I assume because it was pretty cold). We were walking around trying to select a place to eat and finally decided to try Four Brothers. We walked in and the hostess told us to take any table we wanted(we were the only ones there, which I loved). I really enjoyed the cozy, wood-paneled, grandmother-decorated feel they had going on. The place has been around for like 45 years, so it felt very authentic. They had a good lunch special(2 courses for $ 8). I asked for something was not on the menu(pasta arrabiata) and they were nice enough to make it for me. It was delicious. My wife had the ravioli and it was one of the few times I have seen her finish her entire plate in a sitting. We got a chance to talk to the owner in Italian and they sent us out a complimentary round of desserts — homemade, Italian, Easter cakes. We left very happy and enjoyed the food very much. We will definitely come back.
